Yes, what an honour for Damien to be asked to do this, and what a wonderful tribute. This performance wasn't really about Damien, of course, but I know he's going to get some great promotion through it, and he deserves every bit of it.

I am feeling prouder of him now than i ever have before. To me this was the ultimate performance... not that it was the most important, just that it was the most honourable and heartfelt... its one that had to come from his heart otherwise it wouldnt have worked Just... YES.

Better than the version he did on Idol, I think. He seemed to feel it more tonight, singing about/for all those people.

"Waiting On An Angel" is my favorite song from TWJ, and it is sung by an angel. We are truly blessed to have amongst us a talent like Mr Damien Leith. I am so proud of him tonight!

Yes, that was the gentlest and sweetest I've heard him sing that....unbelievably beautiful........ *flat on the floor* Speechless. Whoever decided to get him to do that had a stroke of genius. It was him doing what he does best - emoting through song, absolutely flawless tonight. It's a wonder the Logies didn't get washed out, it was beautiful. Great context to showcase his talent in, it was awesome. He did it perfectly
