Looks like Damien is singing 22 Steps tonight. We will have to wait for another performance to hear the new single. Hopefully it wont be too long  I read teh newsletter as he will sing 22 steps on Sunrise ------ so perhaps he will sing something different tonight - an original would be better on idol......... |

I'm so excited about seeing Idol tonight! And for the first time in ages I'm home on a Thursday night to enjoy it live!!!  I love Damien's acoustic version of 22 Steps - and yes Hyp, wouldn't it be great to hear him add "Easy" into it too  - I can't hear that part of the song now without expecting him to change into that! Damien's acoustic version of 22 Steps gives me goosebumps, I love it  |

I just don't get why one would repeat a song everyone has heard and hasn't sold as well as we'd have wished, when there are oodles of great originals on the album that would surely induce way more converts/sales. Is this a choice made by Sony do you think?

Not sure Leithal but perhaps it might be seeing as though it is still the current single. All I Want is You goes to radio in about 10 days or so. It would have been a good time for Damien to be able to premier the new single but it might be just a bit too early? I am really looking forward to tonight though. Just a little while to go!  |

Perhaps if he performed it now then he wouldnt get another pimp spot for it on the Idol series... the way I see it, if he doesnt perform AIWIY tonight, he should be allowed to perform it...oh..lets say....the week of its release? ;D Personally, I would like to see one of his songs off the album, maybe Not Just For the Weekend, but if he does the acoustic version of 22, I'll be happy  |

Damn this is what happens when you go away for a week and then have to catch up on other things....I thought that Beautiful was a possibility for the second single... but I love all of them so no probs here...

OMFG he wore a scarf!!! And the version of 22 Steps... the twinkly and the alternative in a glorious union... I loved it. Loved that everyone cheered him before he could get out the 'wish', too. ;D |

Ah, the Idol "style" team....like a dog with a bone  Loved the audience response, would have liked a mention of that GOLD accreditation even more! but at least they gave him another "1st winner with consecutive #1" gush ;D |
