Ah Maia's such a cutie Crazy!  & I love how she's drawn downstairs to the lilt of Damien singing   - huh i don't - bedtime is bedtime, we take no nonsense around here - but she is kinda cute tiptoeing downstairs in her jim jams as if we won't notice. message to Damien - Dear Damien please sing quieter after 7.30 at night, thanks, yours truely, Crazy xxx |

Not sure Leithal but perhaps it might be seeing as though it is still the current single. All I Want is You goes to radio in about 10 days or so. It would have been a good time for Damien to be able to premier the new single but it might be just a bit too early? I am really looking forward to tonight though. Just a little while to go! Sorry, late response as I've been busy with other things tonight. Haven't even seen Idol yet but really looking fwd to it after reading this thread!  I didn't think it would be a good idea to perform the next single (too early as you say) but I was really hoping for something else but yes, I'll take whatever D wants to dish up! |

I've always found a man with his shirt firmly buttoned much hawter than the reverse, personally.  Kami, after tonight's show I just had to have a full 3hr session with all my Damien dvd's and singles incl the 2006 AI Final 12... I can't agree with the neck to knee look. An unbuttoned shirt revealing a bit more of  ahemmmm... his manly jewellery ... ala Sky, Message to My Girl, Nessun Dorma, etc etc etc...  Is it getting hot in here? Ooh, Damien'd be gorgeous in anything - even just the T-towel. |

 Shims, you've got it bad! Love the outfit, very dapper  That gold spotty scarf screamed "Gold accredited cd", didn't it? Or maybe it was D's reaction to my dig at the scarf-wearing pretty boys, I noticed he added Rihanna as one of his MySpace friends after we dissed Umbrella. Same goes for the shoes he was wearing, which my mum called "funny" at Warringah someone better tell Damien that the weather has got warm all of a sudden and he can start stripping off. poor guy, locked away in the Idol studios all day - probably freezing in there!! He came close at Warringah, Crazy, he took off the Hallelujah jacket  and rolled up the sleeves to sign the autographs, so we got a good look (and feel  ) of the black & red vest! If only he'd been wearing something with buttons - it was a cold day, but it was damn warm in that store!  Loved Damien's back-chat to Mark about the cardigans! ka-zing!  Did anyone think though that the falsetto lacked a bit of oomph tonight? Perhaps he's over that song, or he got flashbacks standing there in front of the judges? Am I the only one who thought that?  *I think I used a record number of smileys for me in this post  ) |

OMG, Damien wearing a cravat! Does it get any better? He looks so hawt and just so.......hawt! ;D It's about time that men's fashion had a face lift and I'm all for the cravat if worn properly and Damien wears it with style. Wasn't it great to see Damien on the AI stage again knowing this time that he'd already won and now has back to back No. 1 albums to boot? I loved Damien's comment about the tour when he said "The tour's going to be great craic." Gawd I love it when he talks Irish. ;D Did anyone else take note of the cover art of the book on the big screen behind Damien when Ken Doll and Monkey Boy were talking to him? It's not the same as the one we first saw a while back. It is very, very nice. Thank you gj for taping and the link. I really don't know what we'd do without you. It must be so great for Angela, the Leith family, SJ, Holly, Megan and all of our other overseas members to see these clips so soon after the event. |
