It's a shame that Damien won't be part of the panel but by the same token it's great that he has been invited to sing on the S&S Christmas show. Andrew Denton and Rhonda Burchmore should be a hoot but I just cannot stand Missy Higgins!  |

Andrew Denton is an amazing and insightful interviewer. Looking forward to seeing Damien on Spicks and Specks again. |

HAHAHA Missy Higgins gets to be reminded of a certain fabulous ex-Idol artist who has worked a darn sight harder than she ever did to get noticed.  And I like Missy's music to a certain extent, I have her first album, but the 'My competition had more cred than Idol cos it wasn't on TV' whinge is the first thing I remember about her now. She has lovely supportive parents; what would she know about suffering for her art anyway? *ahem* Anyway... Andrew Denton, Rhonda Burchmore, yay! Should be a brilliant show. Would love to see Andrew Denton interviewing Damien, he gets a lot of interesting stuff out of people and his show is popular too. And isn't this the second year running they've had Damien on the Christmas show?  |

Thanks for the notice and write-up copy, Carla and Sel. That's fantastic news to be included in the Christmas show and to get named as a "special appearance". I love Spicks and Specks. Damien's last appearance was so funny. They showed Damien briefly too, in their wrap-up of the year the other week. Just when we thought the concerts were IT for 2007 we've now got so many things to watch out and go for ;D |

So glad D's on this show AGAIN..I think they are quite fond of him ;D..and I'm with you guys re Andrew Denton - great talent! Also kami, unfortunately that's the first thing I think of when I hear Missy's name too..even though I quite like her music as well..  |

I think Andrew Denton has a message board on his Enough Rope ABC site. Maybe we should all get on there and suggest he has Damien as one of his interview guests for 2008.  And, add me to the list of Missy Higgins non-admirers. I can't stand the sound of that woman's singing voice blaring out of the radio, and her songs really aren't that good either. |
