Hi all... Damien will be recording Spicks and Specks, tomorrow, Tuesday the 4th of December. The date it will air, is yet to be confirmed. Will let you know when I have more info. Very much looking forward to this!  Carla  |

Absolutely GJ. Spicks and Specks has a HUGE following. I know people that don't watch a lot of TV and yet watch this show. This is great for Damien!  Excellent News cant wait, the last one gave some great publicity the youtubes of S&S go off big time...... Yeaaahhhhhh!! |

I LOVE S&S ;D..and D on it is even better!...pity tickets are all gone...*siiigh* My hairdresser is going to this, she told me last week that Damien was going to be there and said as soon as she heard this she thought about me. ohhhh! Her daughter works on the crew. But unfortunately she couldn't get a ticket as they are for mainly family, but she is going to say hello to D from me. I hope she remembers. |

Here is a snippet from Adam Hills' MySpace blog that came in today. According to Adam, Specky Christmas will air on Dec 16 at 7.30pm. (Sunday week) Damien makes a guest appearance but is not on the panel, unfortunately.  "We have just filmed the Christmas special of Spicks and Specks, and I am wide awake and buzzing. The guests on the panel were Missy Higgins, Hamish Blake, Rhonda Burchmore and Andrew Denton...and it was a hoot. Alan and Myf were in fine form, we were joined by the Adam Simmons Toy Band, and there were special appearances from among others, Dave Graney, Ali McGregor, Pete Helliar, Denise Scott, Damien Leith, Scott Edgar, and Jade MacRae as well as Brian Mannix and Frank Woodley in an episode that ended with Brian saying "I think Frank just broke my dickbone."
Other highlights included Missy admitting to baking a "special cake" for her Grandma one Christmas, a photo of Hamish in a Christmas pageant when he was a kid, and a version of "Jingle Bell Rock" using the lyrics of Kevin Rudd's apology for being caught in a strip club. My thanks to everyone involved in the show - we are truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people." |
