DONATION INFO for DAMIEN'S B'DAY CHARITY PROJECT

Can we get a receipt / tax invoice for donations and are they Tax deductible if they're made by a company not an individual?

Morgaine I'm not sure about the difference between tax deductions if you donate as a company or as an individual, I'll ask Monica that when we speak on Thursday to find the latest taly update

I made my donation yesterday by phone and I asked Monica how it was going. In her words, donations are "slowly rolling in". I couldn't afford as much as I would like to be able to give but every little bit helps. Keep it coming Damienites!

FIRST TALLY UPDATE 21 DEC 06

Monica is very pleased to announce the FIRST TALLY UPDATE is $ 590 !!!!

This is a fabulous effort for the first week everyone!!


I have spoken with Monica today and have put lots of updates in the first post in this thread, including the first tally! (In LIME colour so it's easy to find)

Monica said that they have been so pleased at the SO with all the positive reaction to the project

Let's keep the momentum going - I am saving at the moment so as to make my donation in the new year and this can be a good strategy at this time of year when there are many expenses for everyone - just remember, all donations no matter how great or how small are greatly appreciated by the Special Olympics and will do so much to see that those in the program will receive so many extra opportunites they may not otherwise experience.

So proud of the Damienites for all your positive energy and support for this project!

I am now awaiting confirmation from Monica that it has been included in Damien's birthday tally.
