Okay, now I regret coming on here to find out how the show went. I feel like it's Monday night already.  I wouldn't worry about Damien not getting the touchdown. We all know how much value Mark's opinion on a performance can have sometimes. In fact it could work in Damien's favour if Jess and Chris got them - if he can last another week, and I believe he will, they'll be at a disadvantage because people won't feel they need to vote so much next week. That's my theory at least. Eep... better get to the TV! |

OK, those other 2 performances are going to have to being freaking out of this world, because I just held my breath from go to woah... I'm going to have to rewatch on YouTube, because I was doing what Marcia was doing for half the song..listening transfixed with my eyes closed, NOT because he is 'butt ugly' (so far from it its not funny...ladies, can I just say stubble and let you work out the rest...phwoooaarrr!!), but because THAT IS THE BEST VOCAL I'VE HEARD, possibly ever, on idol. Definitely rivals the Wicked Game vocal. Just stunning. I also cried the whole time  |

Easily one of the best performances I've ever seen on Idol. Should have gotten a touchdown, but that doesn't matter - as Kyle said, Damien is worthy of the international stage. That acknowledgment is better than any touchdown in my opinion.  |

Lol! Look how many pages before the show even started!! Oh wow, Damien just finshed and I was transfixed. It was sooooo beautiful. He was brave to play such a hard song and he did a great job, Damien adds some nice infill notes, love his his style of playing  Touchdown from me for our lovely Damien! |

Oh and I wanted to add - he looks FANTASTIC tonight, again in the dark shirt and for me that's the look that makes him shine. Also wanted to note it was cute seeing his Mum in the audience singing along!! And at the end Damien dedicated the song to his girl Eileen. Sweethearts! Lol, now Marcia is on calling Mark cold-blooded and telling him off (regarding Ricky) ;D have to go and see this  |
