Touchdown from me too! I thought Damien was brilliant - I really felt the way he was conveying the song, and I love that he didn't perform it like everyone was no doubt expecting. The feeling really hit me all the way through the TV screen and from what I remember the audience really went off as well!

Nessun Dorma - wow!! Brilliant! However I did think the music was a bit too loud - nevermind it did the job! Haha...Im really proud for Damien!
Unchained Melody - i got shivers - too bad it didnt get a touchdown but Kyles comments...and Mark's retorts - EWW! Lol but i like what James said hah! Anyways back to the song - like Shims said - not a touchdown from Mark but theres one for me! ....*stands up imitates Mark* TOUCHDOWN!!!

Damien, you should be proud of how you sung unchained melody. As Marcia said, I'm glad you didn't sing that high note!!!!! Mark really has a dirty mind at the moment, I mean, hot flushes, Kyles instruments, YUCK. I won't go there. When you sang nessun dorma, there was a room full of women aged from 8 to 72 years of age and we all had tears running down our faces. You are too good for this cimpetition. Oh, and by the way... KYLE, YOU ARE A D!CK! Sorry for my outburst, but the guy comes across as a wanka on tv, he might be a genuine person in real life

Completely agree, I will confess to having my eyes closed the whole time, it was just glorius. I'm glad D didnt go the full orchestra power sing..because he had just done that with Nessun dorma! I think Kyles a little miffed that D chose Marks choice over his...... Oh, and can I thank whoever was responsible for putting D in a dark suit with an open necked shirt for Nessun dorma? *pant* Now, where can I write about the painful end of my love for dear Jess....  |

Well done to Damien - he was awesome. Pig's arse that Damien's Unchained Melody performance was 'Piddly' - Kyle - you are a complete tool and have no idea what you are talking about!!
Also, I thought Dean's second performance was boring and I was yawning - definitely not worth a touchdown from Mark. I am pissed off about it because it seemed to downplay Damien's touchdown for Nessum Dorma.
I have already voted 15 times for Damo and will continue tonight and tomorrow. He is going to the Opera House!

lisa, I also didn't like that Kyle was the last person to speak about Damien after he performed so brilliantly tonight, and left the audience with those words in their ears. I don't know what some of the judges were thinking with some of their language and wide eyed kachinging the registers over Dean tonight.

You could tell by the look on his face at the start of Nessum Dorma he was thinking "will I get this?" and at the end he went "oh good, I did it!" And in Unchained Melody (loved the jacket!) he had me at "Ohhhh...", although he didn't seem as happy at the end of that one...perhaps I imagined that... On a more serious note, what doesn't get me so much is the fact that Dean got a touchdown, but the fuss he made about it! The whole "count it down with me..." I can tell him pretty much everyone was cheering at the end of Nessum Dorma, and holding their breathe at the end of Unchained Melody, counting the seconds that passed without a touchdown! I hate playing favourites, it's so unfair! It made Dean's touchdown more significant than Damien's, and coming at the end of the show, it's what people will remember! And poor Jess - I hate to say it, but she's gonna go! I've said it before, and I'll say it again with more emphasis:  MARK YOU IDIOT!!! |
