Damien doesn't strike me as the type of guy to ever forget or dismiss a kindness done to him, so I think he'll always be grateful to the people who first got this forum up and running and supported him back when so many people thought he could never achieve what he has. Murfs, you and Neski and everyone should hold onto that, and no, I don't think you're at all crazy. It is a lot to take in.

Hear, hear! This is the original grass roots, dedicated Damien fan club.
I'm certain Damien will never forget this site, even if protocol demands that he can't post here. There's not a mean, ungrateful bone in that mans body. ;D

Yeah, Damien probably has to do as he's told for a while now but one way to jolt his memory about the wonderful group here is to continually place a link to here on the official site. Also try including the address on any sig tags or banners you create. If someone is in contact with Eileen, perhaps they could pass on our good wishes and also to ask if Damien is permitted to post a message to us here. We have voted our wallets dry so that he could realise his dream and it would be awesome if he would come by and have a chat with us. Just my two bobs worth  |

There's a whole lot of hugging goin' on. It's kind of sad when things move to such a new level. I'm suprised that BMG is letting him keep his MySpace and even have the link to it on the official website...I wonder if Eileen will manage it for him? I think people would be just as happy for her to reply to comments as they would if it was Damo...

His new myspace layout does look nice and at least he found the time to post a new message on there today ;D It's not fair if he can't post here  Why can't they post where ever they want? I suppose sony want to have complete control so they can say they made him what he is  I see you can't download any of his songs anymore from there. Knew that was gonna happen though. Hopefully he can post here and keep his myspace a bit personal. I'm sure he'll post at the official forums when he gets time. |

I really enjoy his MySpace...it's quite flash now and it's been great watching it grow. It actually prompted me to set up my own MySpace so I could follow the blogs and everything - so thank you Damien for bringing me into the current century! This is also the first forum I've even read let alone sign onto - how lame is that? Maybe that's why I don't like the official forum site as much - it's like being attached to your first car. Ah, the Peugot 504...so comfy and reliable...

His myspace page is looking fabby. I do feel sad too. It's wonderful to see his myspace friends list grow and to know he has so much support, but I'm missing my messages from him *sob sob*. Even if he didn't always get the chance to reply at least it was nice to know that he had read them. Maybe when things settle down a bit he will get a chance to send some personal messages again here and there.
There is no way in the world he will forget this room or Neski and Murf (or us fans). I'm sure he will pop in and read when he gets some quiet time even if he's not allowed to post. I imagine this room would have great meaning for him.
I would still love to be on his front page with Neski and Murf lol.
