I truly can't 'rate' Damien's performances, I find it so hard to separate them, each one affected me slightly differently, so I guess I've just got to give my mini-review:
He completely grabbed me by the heart when he sang:
You are So Beautiful and If Tomorrow Never Comes-gorgeous tones. sigh...
With or Without You - Oh the perfection!
Creep - WOW! an insight into his heart. Stunning.Those last notes - OMG!
High and Dry - loved this arrangement. He really swung!
Sky - at first the simplicity fooled me, then I was totally hooked. Sang it for days!Damien plus piano = bliss.
Message to My Girl - pared down brilliance. Just magical..the last verse had me wanting to cry..
Wicked Game - fan-flippin-tastic, superb arrangement, just unbelievable.When the guitar came in and he was perfectly in tune ..man! Took my breathe away!

Hmmmm this is hard....im not good wif technical music stuff...and the arrangements, but i'll say what i think

1.) Wicked Game- i think this was my fav out of all of his performances...everything was just right...and the bit at the start ( acapella?) was perfect and beautiful.........

2.) Creep- Loved this one, particularly the start of it....highly listenable

3.) Message to my girl- really beautiful and sincere...u could tell it was from his heart. and the piano thing- awesome!

4.) With or Without You- I'm not actually a fan of this performance...he did a great job as always but i dont really like the song and i wish he had of picked another one

5.) You are so beautiful - *sigh* this was the first time i had heard him....i was speechless and just....in awe....i was like "wow...." I knew from that moment he was going to win or at least get close...

If Tomorrow Never Comes - Loved this one! Loved this song,loved Damien's version. Beautiful...one of my favs

High and Dry Schwing! Damien really got into it and did an amazing job....

1. Creep.............I can't stop listening to this it really does give me goosebumps and ok Damien I want this on your record ok lol.

2. Sky........a beautiful beautiful song.

3. Wicked Game.......this is one of my most fave songs ever so I was praying the Damien would do it justice as I love Chris Isaak singing this. Damien did a fantastic job, I like the arrangement more and more that I listen to it.

4. You Are So Beautiful.......and I don't even like this song but I've now listened to it everyday on my mp3 player so goes to show what a beautiful voice can do to songs your don't like.

5. With Or Without You......god I love when he hits those notes.


(I missed hearing Message to My Girl...didn't realise the stupid ARIA's where on and they put the show on early so I can't comment on this but I bet it was great)
