If it's an original then it might be on the originals album. *fingers crossed*

Goddamn it, I've had to jump through hoops to get this song and it still doesn't work! First I got it up on my sister's computer, and when I went to buy it on my computer I couldn't find it in an Istore search - in fact, I couldn't find any Damien songs! WTF?! Lickily I had left the browser open on my sister's computer, so Dad helped me set up an account and after running in circles for about 20 minutes, we downloaded it! But then... I transferred it to my computer and tried to convert it from mp4 to mp3, but Nero couldn't do it and none of the supposed 'mp4 to mp3' converters I downloaded off the net could do it! So I thought I'd just listen to it in iTunes, but it tells me my computer isn't authorized to play it and I have to go get the account password off my dad HELP!!! But, that aside... I love the song! (what I can remember of the one time I've quickly listened to it on my sister's computer, anyway) I can't believe he wrote it, just like on the album, I couldn't believe it was him singing! It sounds so much like a song of the era! I can hear lashings of Country Road Take Me Home and Old Man in the melody. Geez, he's getting better and better, if that's possible!

Ah that's clever! I'll try that!
Do you just set it to be a music disc, not a data disc?

This song, like others of Damien's originals, is insinuating itself into my consciousness. It sounds so familiar, yet different, and is right in the pocket for the Catch The Wind style. The story is intriguing, the melody catchy and the tempo is jaunty. I mostly like the lyrics, but not so keen on the title. *ducks for cover*

Haha! I like the title - Jane is my mum's name! Next thing she'll be saying it's her song And I was worried when CTW came out that Damien, being one of those nice guys with a lot of respect for woman, would sound a little weird saying 'baby' - when singers sing 'baby' it can sometimes sound either contrive or sleazy, depending on the artist, and you kinda know it is just a universal substitute for a girl's name, which can kill the intimacy of the song - but he sounds just fine when he says it in Wild World - just fine! ;D
