AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
WELL WELL WELL, the day went so slow as usual . But when i got off the bus i literally ran home cause i had half an hour to get ready
Di and anny picked me up at 5 and we were on our way! ;D . By the time we were there it was 6:30 and thats when dinner started, follwed by Princey then Trilly

IT SEEMED LIKE FORVER FOR HIM TO COME ON!! ARGH!. He ended up coming on about 9 or maybe after 9
Oh and before these concerts i hadn't see damien since november last year SO CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW EXCITED I WAS SQQQQQQQQQQQQQUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

NOW FOR THE SONGS!
As you would of seen on the set list he started off with NMTF , that was just AWESOME!!
Loved how Eric put in Stairway to heaven in Guitar Man AHHHHHHH Damien sounded INCREDIBLE!!
OOOOOHHHHHHH MMMYYYYYYYYYY GOOOODDDD NEVER TEAR US APART!!!! *DIES*.....THAT WAS FREAKIN BRILLIANT!!, him on that piano *SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNN *
If and Beauitful were divine!!, i seriously cried in them The intro to beautiful, WOW!!! WATCH OUT GUYS!!!, I'VE NEVER HEARD SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VERSION OF BEAUTIFUL SERIOUSLY....YOU GUYS ARE GONNA LOVE IT!!! . The voilin and everything just made it sound so good, tears were flowin for me!!
And cause If is one of my absolute favourites , THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD

And if you watched Di's video of it you would of obviously heard the squee ;D , i was squeeing so much that i kinda choked so thats why theres pause in the middle LOLOL , i was so lovin it! that wa so my favourite partof the show!
All the songs were just amazing, FREAKIN BEST SET LIST I TELL YA!
Oh and Eric an Indie!, WOW! they are absolutely great!. What fantastic musicians

OK OK OK OK OK OK OK ...MEETING THE MAN
My heart was pounding and i was shaking, i had to keep going to the toilet i was that nervous and excited to see him!!!
when it was my turn he looked at me and had a big smile on his face and said "KRIS!" , then we had a big hug and a kiss
He said to me did i enjoy the show and i said "Damien....that was the bet show ever!!!"
He seemed really suprised when i said that and said "Oh! really? wow!" . he was asking me how i was going and i was asking him how he was feeling and everything, then i finaly got to thank him for the birthday call i said
"Damien....thank you so much! for the birthday call" he said it was NO HASSEL ( omg )
He then signed CTW ....and get this!!! cause he either knows me as Kris or Krissy and he was saying "Hmm....should i put Kris?" and i was like "Yeah whatever you want " ...IT WAS SO CUTE!!
I then congratulated him on CTW going to #2 and asked him did he expect it to go so well.... He didn't think it would go to number 2 and was extremely happy with how it went ;D
I was saying to him "Damn Andre Rieu nd Madonna" and he just said "ohhh there advertising was just nuts" etc
then of course i got a lovely photo with him...WHICH I ADORE!!!!

I WLL POST THAT NOW!
I'll have to do last nights report later because i have to go out again, so little time these days

OVERALL DAMIEN WAS ON FREAKIN FIRE!!!, HE WAS ABSOLUTELY ENJOYING HIMSELF SO MUCH!
CAPERS WAS A GREAT VENUE! AND IT WAS THE BEST GIG I'VE SEEN DAMIEN DO EVER!!!...I'M SERIOUS!!!

Oh wow, the set list!

And even more wow, wow, WOW! Wicked Game!! This was my favourite song on the WWL tour and when I read that he did an Irish jig during it this time, I thought that would ruin it, but it so didn't. He started out singing it so perfectly , and then the Irish jig for some reason just seemed like a natural part of the song, so awesome , and I loved the way he just resumed singing Wicked Game as normal after the little "interruption". ;D

D's so funny and entertaining. That's just from watching the video - it must have been so funtarstic being in the room. I can't believe Damien can put so much awesomeness into just one song. (Actually, I can believe it, because I've seen it. )

I love the sound of all the instruments. The band on the WWL tour were really funtarstic , but by the sound of that video, the sound on this tour is amazing.

And obviously actually being in the room gives you better quality sound than hearing it in the video, so I can't wait till it's my turn, it's gonna be funtarstic.

Damien's happiness really came across in that video. ;D He was laughing and smiling the whole time. And the puffin' and pantin' bit was so funny.

Lol I'm in teh coma just from reading this thread.

BTW, loved the SQUEEing in that video Krissy (and the choking haha). And thanks for the txt, you sounded really excited, lol.

You said "damn Andre Rieu" to him? Lol, I wouldn't even know how to pronounce that name.

Spud, I felt the same way as you watching that video ..I almost put myself in the room with the girls and I was laughing at D's panting and puffing and my toes were tapping away when the Irish Jig started, I sooooo hope he does Wicked Game for us all too....I thought it would of been cool to have Kevin Kelly (Bodhran drum ) there as well (the man from St Pats Day, I've got a thing for that man) Thank you so much Di for the video ;D

Krissy, I love reading your reports. You honestly make me feel like I was at the concert with you. Your squeeeeing on Di's video was hilarious and I even thought to myself when I was watching it "gawd I hope Krissy doesn't choke." I'm so happy that you got to meet Damien and that he remembered your name, he has an amazing memory or perhaps it's just that you're so adorable and unforgettable.
