Irish do we need to ask you before we use any of these for siggys etc or are they up here for us to use at our leisure/pleasure. I don't want to start anything then find out I should of asked first.

Thanks for the links Noeleen. I'll have a good look around when I'm more awake. It's 1:30am here and the eyes are getting a little bleary after looking at all the pretteh this evening. ;D One thing I do want to ask you. Do you know of any sites on line where I could find a good picture of the Milltown Inn. I'm wanting the outside facade but interior shots would be a bonus. I've tried googling but I'm taken to all parts of Ireland and the rest of the world but they're not what I want. No mysterri, the Milltown Inn doesn't have a website but I'll take some pics for you if you want? Outside will be no problem but I'll have to ask about taking them inside. Leave it with me for a few days and I'll pm you later in the week. OK? Thank you very much Noeleen, that would be great.

Here's the Milltown Inn mysterri. Not the prettiest picture on the forum but I can send on more if you want. I'm not great with the digital camera but no doubt you'll work wonders with PSP or similar.

Here's a much nicer scene from Milltown, the Old Mill, where Milltown gets it's name. It's beside the canal in the village, about a mile from home here. I'm almost sure this is the mill that was used on the cover of Leaf's first CD.

Here's another view for you all. Some of the lovely scenery around Milltown. This is the Hill of Allen, Milltown. I've no doubt that D climbed this hill often, everyone around here does it, almost as a rite of passage.

No need gj, it's a very mild climb and won't take you long at all. The views from the top are fabulous, Kildare is a very flat county, and you can see for miles.

No problem wombat, anytime. I'll see if I get any more nice shots over easter. Maybe I should start a Milltown thread and post photos and facts so you can all be familiar with what you will see when you eventually make it to D's hometown!
