OMG, Christyl I just watched your videos! Thank you, thank you thank you. Damien just sounds so amazing! His voice seems richer if that's at all possible or perhaps it's because I haven't seen him live for a while and watching the videos really brings it home just how wonderful he is. I love how he rocks around when he's singing an up tempo song, the rhythm seems to flow right through his body.

Roll on 3rd October. *sigh*

Thank you Christyl for the videos.. they are truly amazing.. just like your there.. how do you keep your hand so still. Cant wait to be able to take videos at the next concert i attend, once i finally get my camcorder. Then you have to toss between do you video or do you take a picture.. one needs 4sts of hands.. one on camera one on video and one set for clapping

Ah Rivers, I for one would hate to see you give up the camera, you do such gorgeous shots!

The video thing suits me to at because (I blush to confess this) I have been too vain to get glasses, and if I take a video I have the luxury of watching things "up close" because of the magnification. So there you go, thats why you get so many vids from this direction. Not to mention that I love having them to be able to watch and relive the concert over again....*sigh*

There is an added bonus that I don't sing if I am recording, too
(believe me, that IS a bonus!!!)

I thought it was self explanatory!! Damien was saying before he sang Unchained Melody that he gets lots of requests for songs and that someone bailed him up in the carpark and beat him up about this one so he thought he'd better sing it! He made much to do about him being beaten black & blue ...then he sang the most amazing rendition of Unchained Melody I have ever heard..it was so rich and full and just ...he really gave it everything...probably hoping that'd satisfy his attackers!!!

Everyone has pretty much covered it all...I am hopeless when it comes to remembering specifics but it might come back to me later now I'm hope...Kedron concert seems so long ago - so much has happened since.

Damien was really chatty and funny- there was a great atmosphere in the room and there must have been some late comers cause I checked out the room just as the lights came up for half time and it looked full.

It was so lovely to chat to Indy & Eric after the show and then of course Damien- he's such a generous man. And George was fabulous as usual!
