 Oh my what a treat you have all had and what a set list sounds like you all had the best time and glad to see the green connies return he wore them at Blacktown I remember saying to Braffy his shoes are green at first we thought it was the light but no they were green they look so good with the black keep the reports coming we are lovin it all Thanks ladies ;D

  OMG Damien was ON Fire!! This was the most awesome concert! The crowd were going off all through the show and Damien, Eric & Indy fed off it big time- it just rolled from one high to another! The piano was rockin', Damo was really getting into it- much more than I have ever seen him do before..really jamming! And as someone else said- the crowd would just break out into applause when Damien did some high or powerful notes or when Eric did his thing (in the middle of the song) and with Indy too! We got the impression they didn't want to stop...the encore went for ages! Especially after that little girl yelled out! God! That was gorgeous and such perfect timing! It was a tangible atmosphere...afterwards we were out on the street squeeeing and chattering away like a bunch of school kids- we were on such a high! (I think Carla can attest to that! I think we may have destroyed a level of her hearing!  ) The new song is to die for! Absolutely awesome - I hope it makes it to the album.

oh and when D was talking about Idol and Celebration - after he did his dance, he was saying and showing how he ended up standing in front of the judges podium with his arms in the air, and Marcia was saying (Damien mimiced her voice) "Ah brother..you did our best..stay true to yourself..oh man, that was.." (or something like that- memory not so good but that was the gist)and Mark said " gibbity, dibbety diddly..." and Kyle...well Kyle was checking out some girl who just walked past... OMG it was so funny- and everyone just cracked up- in including Eric & Indy- they couldn't believe he'd said it!! |

 WHAT AN AWESOME CONCERT.This truly is the best concert I have ever ever been too. The room was full and the atmosphere was electric. Damien was totally on fire and had loads of fun.  Damien, Eric and Indy were laughing and joking and having an absolute ball as were the whole audience. Damien sang a lot of his originals, which were just magic, and the crowd totally loved them. It was great watching the audience get right into it. I managed to get the set list; it was hard, as we were so into the concert and having a wow of a time. As the others have posted everything I won’t bore you all with the same stuff. The grand piano, well I was in heaven along with everyone else.   Damien did say that the lid of the piano was very shiny and he could see his reflection, and that’s when I yelled out you Shine Like The Sun.  As Roxy said Damien lost it and couldn’t stop laughing along with Eric, Indy and the whole audience. It was a moment I just couldn’t pass up. When he was telling the sad story I couldn’t help myself by calling out Group Hug. Again everyone clapped and laughed and he even repeated it.  When the little girl called out that she could listen to Damien all night it was so beautiful and such a moving moment. Damien was absolutely taken back. It was such a special moment. Carla I hope you got to hear the songs ok, as I was trying to hold the phone real still while Roxy was taking photo’s. I kept hoping I wasn’t covering the speaker. Damien truly didn’t want to leave the stage he was having such a great time and the whole audience bought the roof down with their singing, clapping and cheering, and then a standing ovation. WOW THAT THE AWESOME. I was very proud to be part of it and it is a memory I will keep forever. Thank you Damien for the most amazing concert ever. The venue was fantastic, the sound, and lighting and of course the STAR was to die for. I so totally hope Damien comes back to Redcliffe again, as this was the best venue yet and we were so spoiled. Thank you Smiley, Roxy and Bella for an absolute fabulous weekend.

I have to agree with Sister, THIS IS THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.
Damien was on fire, the best I have ever seen him perform. The audience was right into it - they absolutely loved him.
Well then there was Damien playing the grand piano. He had the audience rocking.
When Damien performed Beautiful with the piano, I closed my eyes and listened to it and it was absolutely amazing.
Later in the night Damien announced that it was just about time to go and this cute little eight or nine year old girl called out "I don't want to you go, I want you to sing all night". What a very special and touching moment.
