2 concerts at the Gaels Club is on before the Mean Fiddler, Rivers.
You will have to wait until tomorrow to see if this show is booked out. The venue holds a lot of people, so it may not. But, then again, you never know.

I had better mention in here that I don't think I will be putting in a report until very late tonight or tomorrow. I will have transport issues to deal with to get home plus I will have things to attend to here when I do finally get back. so..................................watch this space

An Amazing performance once again from Damien Leith.. He is such a professional, refined and entertaining performer that words cannot describe his excellence with adequacy. As always, he looked Hot and performed like a superstar.
Indi and Eric too were at their prime and the three together, are just fabulous.
He sang, amonst other songs, Catch the Wind, Annies Song, Cold Cold Heart, Unchained Melody, Guitar Man, Stairway to Heaven, Hallelujah, 22 steps, Sky, Beautiful and Wicked Game.
They were all wonderful and i particularly was entranced by Hallelujah and Beauitiful
I love the jokes in between the magical music.. Damien is so naturally entertaining on stage.
plus
An entertain quick excerpt from Jerry Lee Lewis' Great Balls of Fire (on the piano)
plus Happy Birthday song to Jarvis, who appeared in the auditorium during the first set.
and theres... more..
A sneak preview in full, of one of the new originals from his next album due out next March or April... i loved it (I cant remember the name... i just know i enjoyed it, again with Damien on the piano. He said he was nervous singing it in front of an audience for the first time and asked our opinion after.. Of course it was good! I cant wait for the new album... all originals...
Indi did a magical first ever performance on stage with her Irish tin whistle... excellent!
Eric was in great form and i particular enjoyed the "Peter Frampton style" talk box ( i found out from Eric the name after the show)
He didnt come out for signing, but with kids, I can understand.
He is so gracious and a good sport.. A member of the audience who enthusiastically started dancing and trying to get reluctant audience members to join her in the dance fever, suddenly appeared on stage with Damien during a number.. Damien was such a good sport about it.. and let her sing in... (till security arrived)
Altogether a totally enjoyable afternoon as to be expected from the master entertainer that Damien is. As I have proclaimed on the forum many times, I can listen to the same songs for hours and still not have enough.
It was great to catch up with Braffy, CarlaM and Shimmery during the afternoon.
I have so many great pics of Damien, Eric and Indi to put up.. got a bit carried away as always, especially with my great vantage spot. Will share later tonight after feeding family, etc.
Cheers
