That is awesome Tarapanda!!! Thank you so much for your report and set list!! OMG I hope someone got "Summertime" - I think the last time any of us heard Damien do it was at the Up Close and Musical, it was glorious then, he did it combined with Van Morrison's "Moondance" Carla if it's the same song, it's the one that goes "Summertime, and the living is easy..." the one from Porgy and Bess, but Damien does it a beautiful acoustic way. Oooooh how exciting, what a surprise that would have been!!!!

We are Back! and didn't get lost Wow what an afternoon! it was just beautiful. We (Sis, Smiley, Bella and myself) arrived early as we had been told the doors open at 1pm and that D would be on at 2pm! Well he didn't actually come on until 3.30pm! We are all looking like little beetroots including poor Damien by the end of the day:-/ As Tarapanda has said, they were turning people away as the place was FULL!! We had grabbed our spot on the lawn right in front! As we DO! We spread our blankies out and settled in for a lovely sunny afternoon with Sea Breezes! It really was a great spot. ;D ;D ;D The show was fantastic, although we could see how tired the trio were when they arrived! the poor things had to fly back today from Taree to Sydney, then get a plane to Brissy today and straight after the show take off for another plane back to Sydney!!! (not sure who worked out this end of the schedule but jeeez that's asking alot of them!!) not to mention being in the sun most of the gig as well! Tarapanda has mentioned the Setlist and as much as I love those songs, I would of loved to have heard more originals! but as this was a pub scene, I'm not sure those songs would of gone down as well here unfortunately!. I'm so happy that we have had so many different gigs this time around and all have been fantastic. The banter on stage and Damien's voice are just so entertaining! no-one ever goes away feeling disappointed, we could here so many people making lovely comments afterwards about how great Damien is as a singer and performer! Damien made mention of how hot is was and asked if we were all wearing sunscreen, then he asked if he could borrow some! of course we offered and Smiley handed D the bottle, he then piled a whole lot onto his face! he asked if he had rubbed it all in and everyone said yes, but he didn't believe them Message to my Girl was gorgeous and Summertime was a new one to me. I'm not sure if I know it? but it sounded great and I've videoed that and will upload it later. I think I've killed my camera with the amount of photos I took seriously, it's not everyday we get to take photos of Damien in daylight and of course it's alot easier than the night shots. Although the sun on him was a tad difficult. I'll upload those a bit later on. We saw Indie afterwards and she said that the Taree show last night was AMAZING!! she said it was like a festival type of event and was alot of fun. Eric even said that people were waving their mobile phones around etc so it's a shame no-one was able to go to this one. We saw Damien very briefly before he had to take off and just said thank you for all the wonderful shows up here. We went out to the car to put our blankets away as we were going back inside to sit and have a coffee before heading home, and Damien and crew were getting into their car he waved and he blew us a kiss awwwww! I'm feeling a tad flat right now just knowing that our leg of the Tour is over! we all just love getting together and going out and having just the best time. ;D We all had a group hug in the carpark before we set off home, it was very sad! We have all had a blast ;D Thank you Damien for the most amazing week, you're just the best!

Big hugs to Roxy, I know what you mean about feeling a little flat when it's all over... It sounds like a beautiful day and a great show. The poor things must be completely exhausted after the last 3 days. Flying, driving and more flying! Sounds like a great show and entertaining as always! Looking forward to seeing your pics and your videos Thanks for the report hun. And thanks Shims, that's the one I thought it was

Roxy what a wonderful report!!! Thank you so much for coming back on so fast, after a big day in the sun and all the excitement! Aaaaaaaaaaah you got Summertime thank you thank you thank you That's a lovely story how you saw Damien at the end, it makes it all just perfect when that happens and really makes the day. Poor things all getting pink in the sun, we've had a glorious weekend for these shows but that sun would be hard on Irish skin. Good thing you had the sunscreen and so good that Damien's care committee were at hand there to look after him and in the FRONT ROW again It sounds like the most beautiful place there by the water, can't wait to see the pics of it all!!

I forgot to mention the support act! Their name was BIND! 2 guys on guitar and a girl on bongos? They weren't too bad either, the crowd were enjoying them. They were a little nervous I think having such a large crowd and knowing they were all their to see Damien. A few people brought their cds, so that was nice. ;D We also had some Irish Dancing too, I really enjoy watching them and the music is so upbeat too.
