Damien has blogged recently on his MySpace (see our fader for a link) and has told us that the recording is going well and that his producer, Stuart Crichton, is just "brilliant". ;D Crichton has a 15 year history in the music recording business and is an all rounder, having mixed, produced and even written. He's worked with artists like Delta, Brian McFadden, Kylie, Jamelia, Pet Shop Boys and The Sugarbabes. His roots are in House and Dance music but his bio says he has a strong interest in vocal production, a fact I find most encouraging! ;D Honestly, I don't think D's amazing pipes have been faithfully produced to date. I'm betting Stuart is just the guy to do it! Bring it, gentlemen! ;D

Ditto Trilly, Stuart Crighton sounds like a very experienced producer/writer and engineer! ;D D must be stoked to be working with him. This impressed me alot.. Stuart may have his roots in dance but vocals play a huge part in his productions, and he can easily turn his hand to most styles of music, as previous successes with Kylie, Charlotte Church, Pet Shop Boys, Bond and The Sugababes will testify. ....and D has the vocals!!

Well, colour me suprised at the choice of a pop-based producer Although, quite frankly, if he has the skillz to capture the magic quality of that D's voice has live and raw, then I don't care whether his past credits include "Polka Polka Polka"!
