OMG WHAT A NIGHT, WHAT AN AMAZING 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS!!

I've just got home and am dead on my feet! I'll do a report tomorrow after I get some serious shut eye!! I've had pretty close to 10 hours sleep since I left Brisbane on Thursday morning!

Shims, it was so nice to see you and Mr Shims the show sure was one I won't forget in a long time and yes Damien's voice was AMAZING last night! I remember when Damien was singing a VERY high note and in the quiet part where he goes to go even higher, some lady says... O.M.G... It was such a genuine *thatwasf'ingamazing* kind of OMG that everyone agreed and started clapping and cheering even before he could get to the last HIGHEST NOTE POSSIBLE!

Dawn has the set list and she will post that when she can. ;D As Shims said, we sure did get so many spontaneous songs thrown in and the crowd were loving every minute of it. There were a few Standing ovations, and even some dancing by a group of ladies (no, not us) I loved that Irish song too Shims, and the crowd were lapping it all up as well! I just loved it all!

I'll upload some photos tomorrow, I'll have to resize them etc.


Carla, Sis, Dawn and I just had the most amazing 3 days and I think it will take me quite awhile to get my head around everything that happened! I think some serious sleep will be needed before I can really think straight! Thank you all sooooo much for the most amazing time

and a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Damien for being so gorgeous and for putting on the best 2 shows EVER!! WOW!! You were just AMAZING!

Also, thanks to Indi (Hope your hand is ok) Jimmy and George, you guys rock!

Thanks for posting your reports Shims and Roxy, and I look forward to reading more as you recover!!! Sorry I missed your call last night Shims, had already retired for the night... you guys must have been up very late!!!

Damien sang that drunken nights song (or a couple of verses) at Fremantle in July... I couldn't remember what it was called, so thanks for reminding me Shims... it was a very fun (and naughty )song!!

I hope Indi's hand has nothing to do with car doors Roxy....

Looking forward to seeing all the pics, I have my sons laptop attached to the big screen TV in anticipation!! ;D

And was that the full length version of CREEP? Can't wait for you to post the video of that one!!

So glad you & Sis are home safe and sound, Roxy I was so excited to see you both and thankful to spend some proper time with you both (and this time also so thankful not to still be feeling the after effects of food poisoning, which made convo a bit difficult last time ). B/f had the best time as well last night, we've really been looking forward to this one for ages and it more than lived up to our hopes for a great night. Thank you so much too for our penthouse Hut last night (lots of funny stories and incriminating photos to come from that, lol)


Oh wow yes wasn't Damien amazing, that was a great moment, mid-song in that quiet spot just after Damien hit a huge note and we heard that lady just compelled to call out "OH MY GOD!" The audience totally understood where she was coming from, we were all thinking it too. I don't know how he does it, but every time I see him he is even better than the last!!!

Tina so sorry that was a late text , we were wondering in our Hut if you would still be awake, we didn't even leave the venue til after midnight, I think Damien was on til about 11:30, so it was hard to get word out earlier.

All I can say is after seeing the pics the girls took the past 2 days, you had all better be sitting down when you see them, or you will fall down

OMG Tina, not only a full version of Creep, but yes,Damien was enjoying himself so much he sung the perfect body verse TWICE - I am still in absolute nirvana eclipse from all the songs and wonderful atmosphere and beautiful night and don't know how on earth the girls are coping who went 2 nights running

All I've heard about was the big surprise for Roxy, and Sis being the bestest big sister eva! * I don't have a big sister, Sis...want to adopt me? Pwease...pwetty pwease?

What can I say about this show......

TOO AMAZING FOR WORDS! (but I will try, thats for sure)


This show for me, was probably absolutely one of the best, if not the best shows I have seen Damien do.

It was very different for us from the night before as we were very much PART of the show!

We were a little more on the quiet side this night but Damien's voice was BEYOND INCREDIBLE!

This was the BEST I have ever heard him sing. As mentioned in the 4th December post, I finally got to hear/see CREEP and it was just absolutely amazing. But to actually get to hear it again, was just mind blowing!. Infact, I didn't think it was possible that it could sound better than the night before. Honestly, if you had have seen me, I was absolutely DYING! But this night, with each note getting bigger and bigger, I was grabbing Roxy's hand and literally, had my MOUTH OPEN SO WIDE and just a squeeeeeeeeeeek was coming out! Roxy, Sis and Dawn were the same. We were clearly GOBSMACKED! Trust me, it's not easy to shut us up and I swear we were hanging on every single second of the song.

And WOW...when Damien did If Tomorrow Never Comes I was just blown away again. What beautiful lyrics and Damien's version is so heartfelt. Sis is a massive fan of the song and she was just totally in awe watching Damien performing it.
I looked over at the next table, and I could see this couple just gazing into each other eyes and then she was crying on his shoulder as Damien neared the end of the song.
That to me is just such a gift to be able to make people feel like that!

As Roxy mentioned, Damien started Wicked Game...and he sang.....

The world was on fire, no one could save me but you...

and then he paused for just a a second and this lady in the middle of the room went...

Ohhhhhhhhh..........myyyyyyyyyyyyy......Goooooooooooood!

Everyone clapped and cheered and then Damien continued on singing despite having a big proud smile on his face!
He looked a little like this! ;D ;D ;D
And went straight back into the next note, just as beautiful as the one before it.

The crowd was fantastic. One of the BEST and most interactive crowds I have been in. They were not over the top and rowdy, just really loud with their cheering, and woooohoooing and they really appreciated every single moment of Damien!

Not sure if it got mentioned but Damien did do some of KISS at the end which as you can imagine, made us tarts very very happy. He actually did the second verse. WE LOVED IT!

Not sure when it was, but Damien mentioned Santa again so the girls and I all put on our flashing Santa hats. Sis and I had ones that said HO HO HO in flashing lights (Sis are you trying to imply something? hahahaha) and Roxy and Dawn had hats that said Merry Christmas with flashing lights all around it.
So we realllllllllllllllllllllllly stood out! ;D
Actually, I think Roxy had hers on for a song before that too. She was very much getting into the Christmas spirit.

Damien did sing most of Santa Claus is coming to Town but didn't know all of the lyric so people in the audience were calling them out.

The sing alongs were GORGEOUS on this night. The audience sounded really good and we got sing alongs right from the beginning when Damien did Fishermans Blues (did I get the title right? I hope so)

It really was an amazing show. I so want to say it was the BEST ONE EVER but the night before was also so absolutely incredible too!!!!

We got so many great songs between both nights and so many of our favourites too.

The venue itself is gorgeous. So small and cute and funky and both nights we had the very front table of 4. Perfect spot, right up close and personal although somewhat embarrassing when we said things that were perhaps not meant for everyone to hear! hahaha.

Damien looked fantastic on both nights and this night he was wearing his black tight jeans which he looks so great in, and this gorgeous shirt, it was white with a thin stripe of I remember correctly and really dressy black pointy shoes.

There was lots of banter with the crowd, lots of joking around and great stories. Damien never fails to deliver an entertaining night and we could hear other people absolutely RAVING about the show afterwards.
In fact...most of them said they were locals who decided to come along for dinner and show because they thought Damien was good but they came away saying words like SMITTEN, MOST AMAZING VOICE EVER, SO FUNNY, WHAT AN ENTERTAINER, FRICKING GORGEOUS and so on.
Sis and I were talking to a few ladies after the show and they were even stealing the posters off the wall on the way up the stairs and were holding them and sighing and saying they were in LOVE!
They ALL said they would go again in a heartbeat and would be looking out for other dates to go to.
And it wasn't just the woman either, their partners were all raving on about how amazing he was.
Actually, when Damien left the stage, it was actually a MAN that grabbed him and tried to hug him! Go figure

It was so wonderful as always to see Shims and Shims BF, they came back to our apartment for a "Penthouse HUT" as Shims called it and we all had a ball. Such good company, it's always a pleasure.
It's a shame you couldn't have been at the table with us but you were right behind which was great

Anyway...I have raved on and on but I could seriously go on all day and all night about how amazing both the nights were.

My time with Roxy, Sis and Dawn was just fantastic. We got up to so much mischief (more on the first night...haha)...and had an absolute blast together.
Thank you to Sis for doing such an incredible thing for Roxy and letting me a part of that. You truly are such a generous and wonderful person and I love ya!
Dawn, you are the sweetest most generous lady and so easy going and you do so much for Damien and for all of us. Love ya hun!

And Roxy, what can I say about you that I haven't before. We always have such a blast together, whether its shopping, or um....drinking excessive amounts of alcohol ..we always have an amazing time and it blows me away how many times we say things at the same time. Love ya lots!!

And to Damien.....you never ever cease to amaze me. Thank you for two AMAZING nights. You not only blow us away with your EXQUISITE VOICE but you make us all laugh and cry and entertain us from the moment you come on till the moment you leave the stage (mind you, we never want it to end).
Thank you for being sooooooooo wonderful and I am sure by now you realise the impact you have had on all of us and the lifelong friendships that have been formed through you and the forum.

You are incredible and we love you!
