and re the Support Act (who needed support herself me thinks)  At least I did my homework!  I had listened to one of her songs on Myspace *Josie* and when she started singing it, I got all excited thinking that I knew the song! the other girls all turned and looked at me like I had rocks in my head!  (we were wanting her to finish up so that Damien could get on, and the girls were worried that as I was the ONLY one in the crowd that looked remotely excited that she might stay longer) Ooops sorry girls   |

Lol, I went on Alanna Cherote's MySpace to see what I thought (listened to Josie - didn't like it ) and it says she is Damien's support act for the Vanguard.  So all of you going there, don't forget your earplugs this time.  That was soooo funny when Indi did the *playssmallestviolinjustforDamien*. Right on cue as planned, we all went, AWWWWWWW and Indi came in with her *sad violin tune* the look on Damien's face was priceless! (I have it on Video too) Ha, can't wait to see that, Roxy! |

Well to be fair, it wasn't that I couldn't stand the music, I just didn't enjoy it very much. But I listen to Damien a lot, so obviously I'm going to have high standards. ;D |

Noted  *makes mental note to pack earplugs in case the alcohol doesn't do the trick* Haven't had much time to post but have really enjoyed reading all the posts from this "wild" weekend So glad you all had a ball and the shows sound amazing ;D Can't wait now til it's my turn  Really looking forward to our little Christmas party at the Vanguard  Oh and if you read this Damien - same outfit as Friday night at the BM thank you  Oh and forgot to say thank you girls for the very detailed reports - and the pics and vids ;D |

No...can't remember who the support was back in February...we actually sat through it all but then were so in need of a) fresh air (was half asleep) and b) a sugar-hit (remember I was v. pregnant and wasn't drinking! ...not sure what OzB's excuse was... ) BUT... we missed the first song of D's set because of it He came on earlier than advertised (probably to make up for the ho-hum support and shocking food service...stave off a revolt IYKWIM ) It was worth it though 'cos those gelatos are SO good |

It was the 14th March and it was a lady from Melbourne that was the support act. This was the trial run of the CTW songs  |
