I wonder how different tonights show will be. It was amazing last night according to Carla and Sis, so Damien has a lot to live up to.  |

   I probably don't want to look at the clock because all I know is, it's late!  Am just home from a BRILLIANT night out at Cronulla with the gang, we all had the best time and Damien was on fire, and the Brass Monkey was rockin! It's right up there with the Basement as one of the best venues by reputation in Sydney.We finished up at the venue at about 12:15 am & then all walked back to the girls' lovely beachside penthouse Hut til about 2:30am. Just the most FUNTARSTIC night out and one of the best shows I've been to, definitely in the top 5. Damien really seems to love the venue and said on stage how much he'd been wanting to play there. I am on my last legs but will come back tomorrow with more, lots of funny moments tonight (including one I just realised I have on video) with Damien welcoming Jimmy and Indi back on the stage, except they were right up the back of the restaurant, and they came flying past my camera to get back to the stage for their cue, you just see 2 streaks go past on the vid Damien was doing lots of spontaneous songs, including a saucy Irish one that I think he revisited a couple more times at least in the night, & he was having fun with everything - he did what we all agreed was an even better version of Creep than he did on Idol  and had so much fun with the "I've got a perfect body" verse that he got a devilish grin and said he'd sing that verse again , so we got an extra long version of that song - then the OMG high notes, well, we were all still raving hours later about it all - just STUNNING!!! There are lots of good stories, pics to die for (I saw some on everyones' camera before we went ) and great laughs too. Damien seemed to really be enjoying himself immensely and of course so were we all. We were so delighted to also see him for a few mins after as well and have a little chat and group pic, was lovely  Everyone will be rolling in here tomorrow and Sunday as they arrive home, and I'll write my stories of the night up later as well. Thank you Damien for such a great night  and it was so great to see you all there tonight

Awwww thanks Shims! ;D   OMG, so he sang Creep and Carla got to see it for the first time??? He did the grin at the "I want a perfect body" line in Melbourne last year too, i remember he couldn't help but smile and we just cracked up , well i did anyways  Haha, that's funny about the video ;D OOOO saucy Irish songs, sounds GREAT!  Can't wait for the other reports |

Wow, everything sounds funtarstic, especially CREEP. I'm so annoyed that I didn't go. Can't wait for the other reports so that I can read them and feel like I did go. |

Did anyone video Creep? There might just be a little surprise coming up tonight  Ahhhhhhh was so funtarstic last night, still remembering all the wonderful moments! Have been working on the album and will be uploading soon and will add tons of stories to go with all the ones from the rest of the gang. We were so lucky, the set-list was amazing - with Catch the Wind, If, Baby I Love Your Way, Guitar Man,Crying/Hallelujah combo, and many many more including the divine Creep of course as already said and we even had Damien's rocky version of KISS at the end of Wicked Game - OMG what a night. The girls all told me about the incredible set-list the previous night as well, the Brass Monkey shows were brilliant!!! |

I just saw the lyrics for "Seven Drunken Nights/You're Drunk" online, now I know why Damien was making jokes on the stage about how it gets more racy as it goes along & so he was only singing parts of the song last night It was so funny, as the night was going on he was adding a 'night' to the story, everyone was loving it. I think by the time we got to the encore we were up to Friday night. Loved it, was such a fun song and a great sing/clap-a-long one! |
