Just listening to Golden Line......... and I can picture it......... Damien on stage with an AI Creep like moment as he hits the high note towards the end - arm raised behind head, eyes closed lost in the moment......... crowd going wild............ are you with me? I'm loving Don't Give Up so much right now!  I just listened to it but won't listen to any of the other songs until I get my physical copy (I like the physical copy better , lol, feels more real  ). I still haven't listened to the entire bandit.fm intro for Don't Give Up but did notice that Damien called the song "Don't Give IT Up", and he also called it that at the LP (causing major confusion for me because I then looked at the track list and it said "Don't Give Up" ). What is the actual name of this song?!  lol Oh and I realised why the song sounds familiar to me - it's at the start of Video Blog #3.  |

It is funny how some of you thought one of the songs reminded you of 'Video Killed the Radio Star' after the LP. This is part of ausp0p's review It rolls seamlessly into 'See You Again', the beginning of which somehow reminded us of Buggles' classic 'Video Killed The Radio Star'. Have they been reading our forum? ;D

WOW! Every time I listen to the CD I choose a different song as my favourite. I am really impressed! "See you Again" is set on repeat at the moment. he he he!

Me too ;D I love every single song because they are all so different...and every time I listen I find myself identifying with a different song. The melodies are stunning, the lyrics are beautiful, and Damien's voice has a richness I have never noticed before ........I just can't stop raving about this album I also find that when I listen to the album a see a small movie playing over and over in my head I only have one small complaint I can't listen to "See You Again" without hearing "time for sex"  Thanks Roxy  I CANNOT WAIT til Fridau  ;D |

How great is the video that goes with the Album! I've watched it a few times now and I just love it!  I wonder whose dog that was? cute little thing. Wow there are so many songs on this album that I want to hear sung live!! |

OMG I love this album, loving all the emotional story and the rocking out and the quiet moments, and and and and!!!! I'm still trying to put my thoughts together but couldn't wait to get back here to celebrate and share it all at the same time as well Awwww Shims  That last song really does you in!  I'm not listening to that one again! not for a long time!  Oh wow, I have to tell the story of when I went into the shops on Friday to buy the album (my copy still not in the mail and anyway my precious signed one won't be living in the car, this one I bought is the car copy ) Well, I mentioned earlier that I was really taking care NOT to hear "For All of Time" during the day until I could have a quiet moment later - it was the only song I had not listened to when I got to JB! I walked in, was looking for the album everywhere and trying to find the new releases, big store, lots of noise and confusion... then I hear a familiar voice... then I thought... "OMG they are playing Remember June" what a fantastic way to start the shopping trip!! Then it dawned on me what song it was!!!!  OMG, "For All of Time" had tracked me down and got me!!! I could not believe it, after avoiding it til later there it was in full surround sound blaring around me in the shop - what kind of million to one chance is that!  lol I threw my hands up in the air in surrender and said "OMG, are you kidding??" - and got a strange look from the security guard - Ahhhhit was so so gorgeous, I just love it - "For All of Time" will definitely be one of my favourite songs "for all of time" - and later that night I put the album on and finally had a quiet moment to listen - and let the tears roll  |

It's great to also see the Damienite guys enjoying the album so much! For a further guy's POV - B/f says his favourite songs on the album are the four in a row from "Stay" onwards - so
"Stay", "Forgive Forget", "See You Again", "Sorry" and his other favourite was "The Other Side" - the bonus song! His first words after hearing the album (and he settled in and listened straight through in one hit) were, "He's done it!!! This is the album!!" (meaning the album that shows Damien at his true essence and best). He was really looking forward to finally hearing it after me raving about it ever since the LP and totally loved it!!
