I can't listen to "See You Again" without hearing "time for sex" Thanks Roxy Thank god we're not the only ones! Well, not me actually my mum reckoned she heard it, she even started reading through the lyric sheet - aloud - trying to find it, not knowing which song it was in. She was going to ask him about it at the State - lucky we cleared up what he's really singing! I keep getting different songs running through my head, but the one that sticks the most - and is sort of my fav - is Unordinary World, it was my fav since the LP. It's the song I relate to the most, and I just love that concept - that this world is strange, that things don't always make sense, but we can just muddle through it the best we can Love the commentary, too - amazing what Stay is about! (not giving away any spoilers) I never would've guess that, but it really makes sense!

BEST ALBUM IN THE UNIVERSE! Remember June – I love the sound for this, it’s really kind of haunting and sounds so beautiful! For me it really catches you straight away. Then Damien’s voice starts and it’s like OMG! I love it! Golden Line – Oh my freaking god I want to run around screaming every time I hear this song! IT’S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Love the way the drums come in and then BAM! The big chorus WOOOOOO!!! And As for the Big long, delicious, hawt, note at the end! I WANT TO FAINT! It’s so bloody hot! OMGOMGOMGOMG *swoooooooonnnnnnn* I also cannot go past this song without singing along! (definitely single material! )To Get To You – Well, we all know the best part of this song is the NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! OMG! THE POWER! *sigh* seriously leaves me breathless! I love the chorus in this too! And LOL! Has anyone else noticed at the end of the song ( I think it's Stuart ) and he says "And then" ? Wouldn’t Change A Thing – *Sigh* I love how the lyrics are kind of random in this! “An Ice-cream truck in our drive way, our very own fireworks display! I love things like that! ;D ;D ;D And not to mention this song is so cute and sweet! Makes me wanna give Damien a hug! Don’t Give Up – For some reason this song makes me think. I can relate to this one as well, I absolutely love it! Stay – I love how this is a break from all the big songs. OMG! Have you guys noticed how husky and gravely D’s voice sounds in the chorus? And how he is absolutely BELTING it! (I think that’s some of Stuarts pushing don’t you think? ) And then the falsetto going into STAYYYYYYYY *DIES!* It’s farking magic!!! Forgive, Forget – Um! MIND BLOWING! HEART STOPPING! SPINE TINGLING! Need I say more? ( Single material of course ) See You Again – OMGOMGOMG Every time I hear this it makes me feel good and makes me wanna dance around like a crazy person HAHA! ;D ;D ;D I’m in love with how the song starts, and then the beat comes in. IT’S SO GOOD SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!I think I’m obsessed lol ( And for the record, I don't think of "Time for Sex" - Single Material as well IMO! ) Sorry – OMGOMGOMG I think I’m obsessed with this too haha! I just love everything about this song ( Also single material IMO ) Unordinary World – I find this also to sound kind of haunting. Hauntingly BRILLANT! IT SOUNDS SO AWESOMEEE! SQUEEEEEEEEE!!! ;D ;D ;D Goodnight – I’m so in love with Goodnight! It definitely pulls heart strings I love songs that you can relate too, and this is one of them for me. I also adore the lyrics, no doubt leaves me teary. For All Of Time – Wow... this is an amazingly beautiful song :'(it makes me bawl my eyes out every time! It is SO SWEET! And the lyrics are so gorgeous! I especially love just the acoustic guitar. It makes it even more beautiful.

Not that my opinion means anything but D should release one of the quicker more up beat songs from the album as his next single as soon as possible . "See you again" for example. I forced a bunch of my friends to sit down last night and listen to the whole album (Non Damienites) and it was the only one that made them tap their hands and feet. If TGTY doesn't start climbing all the charts soon or gets more air play he needs to get another one out there so RJ has a profile to support what a great artist he is. In an interview I heard on the radio D stated that he was contemplating releasing song no. 7 as the next single which is Forgive, Forget. As lovely as it is I think there a coupe of better ones on the album. Anybody got other suggestions for the next single release from the album? ?

I hear what you are saying Stallinger about "See You Again" and I agree that it would make a great single however................ I think Forgive, Forget is a great choice as it's the kind of song that will make people sit up and ask "that's who?" when they hear it - it is sooooo different from what we are used to hearing from Damien Just love the sheer joy of your album review Krissy

When Damien did this song live at the 2nd Lizottes, that moment when he hit that power note was one of the highlights of the show for me - our whole audience was like this so totally blown away at that note and how he nailed it I will never forget that moment I heard him first sing that song and hit that big note as long as I live - WOW!!! I also loved Jimmy's reaction that night, when Damien hit that note he looked straight at Damien with this massive smile and a nod as if to say "You NAILED that, mate, well done!!!" Well that was an acoustic show and that song brought the house down - I cannot even imagine how awesome it's all going to be with a full band kicking behind it as well Oh my gosh. It was the same at the Lizotte's show I went to, everyone was just like "WOW!" (and a certain called out "That was F***ING AWESOME!" ) Just bought my copy of the album! Haven't listened to it yet but I'm loving the look of it, especially Teh Cables! I'm seriously not sure whether I want to get it signed, the cover is perfect the way it is. And lol at how it says "Stuart 'Moonman' Crichton". I keep getting different songs running through my head, but the one that sticks the most - and is sort of my fav - is Unordinary World, it was my fav since the LP. It's the song I relate to the most, and I just love that concept - that this world is strange, that things don't always make sense, but we can just muddle through it the best we can. Same here, Hyp. ;D I love Unordinary World and it's the one I relate to the most too. Although I haven't listened to the album since the LP, so that could change. Kris, I loved your review (as usual). Re the next single, I think either Forgive, Forget, See You Again or Golden Line would be a good choice. I'm leaning towards Forgive, Forget at the moment, and it seems like D is too, yay.

Now I wonder who that was I forget to say that I bought my "real" copy today ;D Got it at JB and they had lots of copies in the "New Music" stand at the front of the store, as did Sanity Just watched the DVD - it was great watching the studios blogs again and nice to have a permanent copy for safe keeping ;D

I bought another copy today (shhh, don't tell DH, he won't get it) and they had it in a display that had 'Best Sellers' at the top, and 'New Releases' down the side. Those copies were all DVD ones for $20, in the alphabetical section they had the CD only for $19. ;D

I bought it at Sanity for $25, not sure why it was that much (they had it at Kmart for $20, but without the DVD). It was the only copy left on the shelf at Sanity, but there was a copy of WWL behind it. When I went into Kmart (who had sold out of TGTY when I checked the other day), there were 3 copies of TGTY on the shelf as well as the copies of RJ.
