 I cannot hide my upset and disappointment about RJ's chart position. It is such an incredible album and Damien should be so proud of it no matter where it charts but I realllllllllllly wish it was doing better. I hope they start showing the TV Ad a little more so the general public actually know it exists!

Its crazy isn't it? Such a good album, but no-one is buying. I just wish radio would have gotten behind TGTY...if people don't know what this album sounds like, how will they know to buy it?

It's a shame it's not higher, that's for sure, but it needs more publicity.  bring on a new single Damien, and lets see it rocket to the top! I think if another good single can be released (such as See You Again ;D ), it will pop back up again very quickly! Come on Team Damo, get on to it!!!!  |

Well...there were sure a few heart-stopping moments on iTunes during the week...Interesting to see how physical sales have a different buying pattern. For such a brilliant album, it so deserves to be higher.  |

Agree, this album should be so much higher, but without some proper promotion it doesn't stand a chance! I'd like to see another Single released soon too!  |

The problem is radio, they just aren't supporting TGTY(with the exception of MIXFM in Sydney). I've heard it only a couple of times on 2DAYFM and once on NOVA, and that's about it!
You can't blame Damien, he's doing lots of promotion!
However radio in particular is more interested in Guy and Jess, and Damien I fear is dismissed as someone who appeals to the over 40s.

I agree Sunshine, I've heard TGTY 3 times on Melbourne radio since its release, not enough IMO Its sooooooo not fair and Damien doesn't just appeal to the over 40's, my DD & DS who are both teenagers have really taken to REMEMBER JUNE, DD even commented as to why TGTY isn't played on the radio much and she herself has done some voting & requesting too ;D she made her mamma proud  |

Why didn't Damien get to do any instore signings this time like he did whith his other albums,
he's much more talented than other people who are getting a lot of money spent on promoting them.

I'd suggest to Damien he should do a live performance on ROVE, and also something on the IDOL finale(if they're inviting former winners/runners-up) - that sort of promotion would help to sell more copies of the album and get radio more on board.
That's really where he's suffering, like last time - a lack of decent radio airplay on Austereo and Nova(in comparison to Jess, who's all over the airwaves right now).

Rove would be awesome. ;D I doubt he'd want to go near Idol at this stage..but unfortunately, none of this is his call. It's not even Team D's I think. |
