Wow Bella it sounds like it was fantastic, how brilliant is it that it was so close to where you were working! You must have been so alarmed when you thought you'd missed them, so glad it all turned out so well and you enjoyed your experience so much!

That's an amazing total ~ well done everyone!! Good work Morgs with your kid's bike-a-thon!!
Bella, it sounds like you really enjoyed your run today - fantastic effort with doing it!! It makes such a difference when you turn up by yourself to these sort of events and the people are warm and welcoming!! And running for the 'winning' team must have made you feel good!

Brilliant effort Bella! Go the Qld SO DLO-er Especially to go looking for the group when you'd been told you were too late, Bella (and you weren't! ). Perseverance works wonders! And isn't it wonderful that it was a really happy activity for all involved? I can't wait for my turn, too That total has totally blown me away! Fantastic fundraising effort to all involved. Loved the innovative ideas with the golf-fundraising and now, Morg's bike-a-thon Top idea and the kids are great to join in this event. How many Special Olympians will benefit from all the DLO funds, I wonder? I know that the kids at my previous workplace were able to do their sports and attended the comps because of the funding and organisation by the Special Olympics. so, well done everyone! I finally got my confirmation email... but it still has the original Homebush venue & date So, I'll have to see what i can sort out on Monday Morgs or Shimmery, could you please pm me the meeting arrangements for Tuesday? Even if it's not official, I'll do mine then Good luck to the Newcastle "crowd"... Dawn, take care on those pins of yours and DO have a terrific time!
