;D ;DYep Tenterfield Saddler thats it. took a vid of it so hope it turned out. oh yes Wicked Game and did the crowd love the Irish Jig.
Was having a lovely chat to him at the signings when a security guy said you'll have to move on there is still a big line waiting and he only has 10mins left. so Damien said goodbye and a gorgeous smile. He was telling me about the other concerts he has done and how hot it was.

ok sorry comp malfunction Yes met him and having a lovely chat when was told to move on as there is still a huge line and he only has 10mins left so Damien gave gorgeous smile and said he was glad I was enjoying the show. Lots of Cds been so;d and they were all RJ.
He mentioned that he was given the hat at the ceremony 3 years ago when he became an aussie citizen and once again very good response from the crowds. had to laugh when he said he is 34 now and has a sore back after doing his exercise routine this year.

It was funny when he said hello I gave him my daughters CD for him to sign and he signed it Tarapanda and then Tina underneath it. Oh well what can I say it was hot and this hot looking person sitting in front of you well, he thought it was funny. Said he is selling lots and lots of his Cd Stood back to tak a pic but was told NO PHOTOS,. geez Security very tight there. Must be all the bad Queenslanders.  |

I am pretty sure that the hat would have been the one that we gave him. Does anyone have a photo to show Tara. (It is in the Australia Day banner that Myst did a couple of years ago if you want to look in your profile Tara)

 really mad at not been able to get many good pics but managed 3 or 4 but they have the sun blurring them. He came on at 3.30 and finished about 4.20. Tina Arena was really good and Ronan yeah he was great too. Would loved to have heard Damien in full swing with his band but Indi and Jimmi did a fantastic set.oh yes we had the tin whistle in Remember June.

I'll do that Braffy thanks. Crowd estimate was about 6. 10,000. everywhere you looked there were Aussie flags and people. They opened with Advance Aust Fair. but really the highlight was Tenterfiled Sadler. will try and download that and my terrible pics tomorrow when my brain is more focused as Kazza said still in teh coma. Now I have to go to another show its in your blood. at the very end Ronan said they were all going to sit down and have a glass or a bottle or a few bottles of the siromet wines and I wondered if Damien had his small glass with him  It was very hard to talk to him because he was been mobbed and that can only be good. |

They have a cd 56 years of a day on the green could not get one the crowds were too long but the guy said that you can order one on the net just go to their website. asked him if there was going to be a dvd of tonights show but he didn't think so. It would have been about 36c

Hi Roxy it was a magical day cannot wait to read the reports about it. not sure what paper as it is halfway between gc and brisbane.
One lady in front of me bought 5 copies one for her and friends, and he only played RJ and TGTY from it so tht is marvellous it will be playing in a lot more houses and cars now.
