Great report Dawn. Excellent responses from the husband and your friends.

I know it is really hard to get people to understand how great Damien is in concert without them actually witnessing it.
We should all try and take at least one new person each time to a Damien gig. That would be terrific if it could happen. ;D

Mum actually asked Damien at Kotara if he was going to come out after the show, and he said he wasn't cos of his early flight, but he came out afterwards anyway (as George said, 'he has to come out sometime!' ) I was hanging back so I didn't take up his time, but I walked past him on my way out and gave him a wave, and he actually stopped me to ask me what I thought of the gig. I told him it was brilliant - I'm loving the new sound from the four-piece ensemble

It sure was a great night, it was lovely to catch up with you guys and get up to date on all the goss - even if our hut location wasn't picturesque (music from pokies in the background

Had to laugh when D made the maligning comment about Billy...a couple of ladies at table 14 went awwwwwwwww he's cute........ and D had a giggle and did a little backwards no no......
