Will do Deb. PM me with her seat number if you know it early enough tomorrow morning. Or, pm Anny or Shims Sorry Braff, missed your message as I was at work all day. Hopefully Bron found you! First report comes from me in Perth. Bron called me from the Enmore and held her phone up for me while D was singing GOODNIGHT, so there is the first song for the setlist!!

I'm hoooooooome! SQUEEEEEEE, full band show! Always awesome! Before I give any info, I firstly just wanna say THANKS HEAPS to Maggiemay for letting me have your seat! Shame you couldn't make it. I invited a friend to come and take my original seat, and she'd never seen Damien before and really enjoyed the show, so that was cool. And she also commented that the Damienites seemed like a really nice group of people, so there you go. Anyway, rough set list: D sang all of the Roy album (I'm pretty sure), and Beautiful and Goodnight, plus some other song which was apparently by Roy, but I didn't recognise it. The main part of the show went for an hour, then the encore (Pretty Woman and Hallelujah) was half an hour long. Jess Chalker was really good too. And she came on during D's set to sing Blue Bayou with him, which was good. D tried out some cool dance moves. Unfortunately though, Mel didn't get on stage and dance with D. Mel was there though, and she was dancing in the aisle during Pretty Woman. Apparently Sam Armytage was also dancing but I didn't notice her. And woohoo, Darren was in the band! (I'm so out of the loop, I didn't realise he'd be there , so that was a nice surprise!) Nice also to see that he wasn't caged this time. Eils was there and apparently so was Stuart. Oh, and D signed stuff afterwards and people got photos with him and stuff, so that was cool. Got to have a quick chat with him, yay. They were selling tea towels with a picture of D on them, and underneath it said 'Drying', (well, 'Crying', but the 'C' was crossed out and replaced with a 'D'). Not sure if they sold them in Melbourne, too? Anyway, hopefully someone will post a pic of theirs. I didn't buy one, but most of the others did. Wardrobe: black shirt, black pants, black pointy shoes, black jacket, black tie, Roy glasses. Oh yes, the photo of the crowd. Haha, it was so random when D took that photo. The band had started playing Pretty Woman for the encore, and before D started singing, he was like "hang on, just need to take a photo of the crowd, everyone smile!" Oooh, and Braffy had an exciting moment , but I'll let her tell you about that.

What a funtarstic night and a great show! Am a little bit from fab show plus delightful birthday cocktails for Morgs so will be brief for now then off for happy shimmery dreams (quite literally I think, I'm not used to those potent delights anymore Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ) Great to see everyone and great report Spud! We were up in Row "O" (The Big O row, lol ) & had a great view of the stage and all the fun up front. Great news, Nuffy was able to make it and was in the balcony right above us, lots of waving As far as I can tell the set list was the same as the Palms show with the exception of 22 Steps which became Goodnight!! If Damien was in any doubt where the Damienites were scattered in the audience there was no doubt after he announced there was a song next from Remeber June - we all went off!! lol was funny though because we thought he meant Golden Line and he was saying no it's not the one you think it is and we were all yelling for it (gosh, I do become a more rowdy version of me when I sit next to Morgs! ) How's this! while I'm typing this I've got the tv on and there's Damien singing away on the ROY ad! ok back to the story! What are we up to??? So it was a rocking version of GOODNIGHT & just awesome with Darren on drums too with the full band, OMG was amazing! The whole show was amazing all night, such great musicianship from all the guys and Damien of course it hardly needs be said was stunning stunning stunning and had the place utterly spellbound! That was a difference as far as I can tell, you could hear a pin drop during In Dreams and then everyone was in spellbound raptures totally loving, you could hear the appreciation going in waves all through the audience just LOVING the show, the standing ovation ones in Sydney were the ones like Pretty Woman, the great old theatre was really rocking and was so great to see Damien play such a heartland Sydney venue at last, we loved!! ok will post and keep coming back to add more

Some quick thoughts about the wonderful show - LOVED the way the guys led into the encore - Darren got up onto the drums after coming on stage on his own to cheers & started pounding out the Pretty Woman drum beat then Eric arrived - and joined in with ARE YOU GONNA GO MY WAY! The Lennie Kravitz song! Same beat & it was STUNNING! I would love to hear the full band do that whole song one day! Place already bouncing then Damien arrives and Pretty Woman kicks into full gear WOW! First time I'd hear it live and it was amazing! Lots of people were dancing in the aisles then including I think Sam Armytage and Mel, I'm not sure who Damien spotted but he saw someone familiar and gave a beaming smile at the dancing, he was in his element and having so much fun up there tonight, it was a great show, great energy - the room LOVED it! One of my faves of the night had to be Handle Me With Care, really loved the way it not only filled the room with a beautiful energy but also the sound of all the guys singing together, have always loved that song so much, for me it's the Friends Together song. Support Act Jess Chalker was LOVELY! Beautiful melodious voice, really enjoyed her set and had lovely chat with her later. I totally fell in love with her outfit and she was kind enough to let me to take a picture of her outfit after the show, she had the most beautiful sheer wrap/shawl on that was made into an overjacket type creation - GORGEOUS! So fantastic to see Eils tonight too & looking so well and gorgeous glowing new Mum Great to see Stuart Crichton in the lobby too! A highlight of the night for me was to see Damien and Darren together on stage again, & fantastic to see Darren has been released from his cage at last Is a special magic to see the two brothers perform together, you can't help feel how happy it must make Damien to have his brother there with him with his bandmates on stage. Cute little moment before the show running into Eric on the pizza run & lovely to see him again, he did the Dire Straits ending to the show again and all the audience on their feet stamping and clapping along, was beautiful! Then all the guys came out and joined arms to do the low bow. Kazza had some fab pics of all those great moments. The sound and lighting were really really great quality, gave that added extra magic to it all. Only negative for me was the very enthusiastic fog machine During the support act we needed a foghorn in there, I've never seen anything like it lol & we were just thinking it must have been tearing Damien's voice to pieces (not that you'd know, because vocally was divine) We saw a film crew in the lobby and guessed it might be something to do with the Morning Show, they also filmed bits of the first couple of songs on the stage. Damien did a signing after the show and there was a huge queue all waiting to say hello and he was great taking pics and spending time with everyone going up to say hi. We had a lovely little chat and was great to see him looking so well and happy Am sure there's much more to add about the wonderful show but I am really fading fast now so might sign off - was great to see everyone again and share the fabulous evening Will post a couple of pics then off to Pics! I only have a few pics & prob best placed here to provide a setting. I couldn't get a good shot inside but the others will have some great ones. Here's the Theatre and the giant poster of Damien outside : Absolutely loved the moment when Damien came onstage and took a photo on his phone of us all in the audience for his album (the one which is on his facebook), he was saying he just had to capture this view, he was loving it so much, it was a gorgeous moment Hope everyone got home safe and sound, great to see everyone again it was a top night! Thank you Damien most of all for the BRILLIANT SHOW and always giving 1,000,000% We all loved it!! Good night all, I would say I will be sleeping in tomorrow! Have a great weekend
