I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY GAVE DAMIEN & MEL BEST DANCE AHEAD OF HALEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  could Channel 7 be warming to Damien? Actually Deb, Hayley is there too, I think it is decided by the highest score... |

Damien's odds on some betting place have come back a bit to $5.50, but Manu is still $1.90 (out from $1.80!!) How can that be? Often in these comps there is someone early who seems good but just never improves - I think it's Manu. I will be interested to see D's arm action next week - I thought Todd's comments were valid and it is the kind of thing D will take notice of. I have watched it a few times and love the routine each time - so much fun   (and we really got one this week!) You're right I think Kath, Damo will be so meticulous about it for next week! They just can't let go of Manu even though Damien has proven himself...but Manu still has an incredible fan base..they love him! (for some reason  ) I think this week Damien has finally been noticed (about bloody time!! ) ..both Josh on Sunrise and Helen on The Morning Show mentioned Damien's outstanding commitment and (I'm paraphrasing) wow factor. AND they showed footage of him & Mel dancing! (what a breath of fresh air that is..after weeks of being totally ignored even after being in the top 1, 2 or 3) |

That is interesting Kath, I hope they keep raving about "D". Can't ignore him forever when he is putting up these sort of performances. When are they going to let hiim sing on the show? That would certainly help the CD along.

haha I'm with your hubby Kath, I do too  What can be said but 'What an amazing team Mel and D are'  . Helen is so right.......right from the start, it's been an equal partnership and it's great Mel has trusted D to carry his own weight and that D has worked so hard to be able to do it. I was actually worried about the jive, because of its constant speed if done properly, yup a great workout.... but D's feet are fleetingly, flyingly fantastic ;D and his attitude and spirit are totally infectious. Also keep in mind that Damien hasn't had years in a PA School - for dance. He's really just amazing |

 Glawz---yeah yeah yeah  put a line through Million BUT That's a hell of a lot watching and seeing what he is really like. My guess is that through DWTS he is coming across as NOT being in the negative image of a what a lot of people perceived him to be. That is the message I'm hearing

great read, thanks Smiley! and oH YES indeedy! ;D Damien is being noticed, alright! The Yahoo 7 OfficIal DWTS forum (which admittedly is a bit slow cos of FB and twitter) is taking note BIG TIME! ;D He's the fave to win at this point, not only because of his wonderful dancing but also because of his fab, fun-loving, humble personality! ;D I've only seen one negative comment.. but it smells like pure fear! haha.. when that starts to happen we know he's a real threat!  |
