What a great idea to post these here Smiley. Thanks for that! Definitely a lot of D-lurve out there for his twinkling toes as well as his character. They've said that usually the winner is decided by the public based either on the dancing ability or the popularity of the 'star'... if that's the case then Damien has already got it in the bag!  .... now, if only we could count on just those two conditions and not so much the unlimited $$$ of a certain husband who's funding votes  Got to say though that Bryn's mum seems to be a really nice and down to earth lady (anyone else think she looks like Bette Midler?). Did you see how mum actually jumped up to her feet spontaneously, clapping wildly after Damien & Mels's dance - at the same time as Eils? That was really sporting of her, I thought. And if her dd is like her then she's really okay (just can't dance though). BTW When I saw Sonya pull out the men's version of the Who mag, I was pretty certain it was Trilly's doing as I'd been watching the tweets  well done Trilly! You know, for those who don't have a twitter account, you can still check out the conversations and relevant tweets by simply clicking Damien's links at the top... then put Damien Leith into the search bar on Twitter and it'll give you the latest ones mentioning him. ALso try searching #dwts for the conversation tweets about the show especially from Saturday to Monday.  |

I would really like to thank Trilly and all others for the entertaining running posts during the show. Not being able to watch it since the opening night, I would wait for my sister to send me a text to say if Damien was safe and what his score was. With very limited access to the internet, on brief occassions I was able to get online and read the commentary. The internet usually dropped out before a got to read it all, but even if I read 3 pages it was terrific to do. so big, big thanks to you Trilly it was fantastic. Next step, to get to those Megauploads. I was so intrigued by the Monkees dance that I was able to watch the youtube link (thanks Kath) at Singapore Airport - no sound - just the dance. I was laughing along and replayed it and replayed it. I then noticed other people were looking at me  . I can't wait to download that one. |

Damien and Mel were so fantastic this week again, I think this one is my equal favourite with the foxtrot, just loved it!! Favourite moments were the moves Mel choreographed, loved "the raver" "the muscleman" "the pony" etc, thought these were just fantastic and they both just totally rocked it and threw themselves in totally, it came across so well and it jumped off the screen.  We were all screaming when Damien broke free and did his Irish fling in the middle of it, OMG what a magic touch that was, it was FUNTARSTIC!!   Loved that head and foot flick near the end of the dance too - it was all just so joyous!! Was great seeing all the tweets on the nights, Damien got a huge response for the dance, he's such a crowd favourite to this huge audience - best rating show on the night again! Well done Damien and Mel for being #1 on the leaderboard again this week! Can't wait til the next one, loving Sunday nights lately |

 I have been watching this over & over..I love it! The joy! The fun! The Laughter! I love it! The head flick is one of my faves too Shims.. I also love when, towards the end, they go lower while they are doing all that fancy footwork! Damien really loosens up towards the end. Thanks for the rap, Nuffster, but 'twas not I what done it, 'twas the Smileyperson! ;D Was gobsmacked when she showed the shopped cover!! Was freaking hilarious!!! I am so pumped about this week.. Damo is definitely on the radar now!!! Hi ya Braffles!  Welcome home! Glad everyone liked the twitter screen caps..will try to do the same next week..

Damien's odds on some betting place have come back a bit to $5.50, but Manu is still $1.90 (out from $1.80!!) How can that be? Often in these comps there is someone early who seems good but just never improves - I think it's Manu. I will be interested to see D's arm action next week - I thought Todd's comments were valid and it is the kind of thing D will take notice of. I have watched it a few times and love the routine each time - so much fun   (and we really got one this week!) Mmmm, might be a good opportunity to make some money!!! Pay some of those phone bills!! Smiley, was that really your Who cover? How fantastic!! It looked hilarious!!! Well done!! Thanks also for posting all those tweets - recognised a few names there, but it's wonderful to see all the non-Damienites posting such wonderful tweets!!! Two dances this week isn't it!!?! OOh, thanks Tina, I was wondering when they would start doing the two dances That's so exciting just when you think it's over  , you get another one NOW I REALLY CAN'T WAIT  Poor Brynne, it's time she begged her husband to stop voting, she is incapable of learning one dance in a week  two is impossible for her  Used up all my leftover phone credit for the month, yesterday. Was able to send an extra 50 texts, before the months free SMS' expired   |

Well done on inspiring the Ch7 graphics team Smiley!  Hey did any of you see the Week 5 BTS video? It's so funny seeing Mel slam into Damien's chest backwards "BOOOF!!!!" when he pulled her during a dance move. She then tells him "LESSON NUMBER ONE: If you're going to pull me... then GET OUT OF MY WAY!" all the while Damien's rubbing his chest while looking a bit sheepish au.tv.yahoo.com/dancing-with-the-stars/video/-/watch/25476726/behind-the-scenes-episode-5/ so cute! shows how much hard work they have to do to get up to the standard Mel requires! And yes, the new ad on the videos page says that they'll be doing 2 dances next week. Pressure!! I just can't get over the range of characters that Mel has been able to choreograph for their rpoutines. And Damien has so stepped up to the plate to perform them too. I am soooo obsessed watching all the dances over and over again  I hope they still have some more serious, dramatic pieces like the Foxtrot. Just loved that one so much... But then, I love all the dances Damien & Mel's done. Absolutely loving them |
