Oh Smiley, I read the tweets last night (one of mine was missing ) Braffy Get me a fire extinguisher STAT @damienleith and @melanieachooper On fire. Hot hot hot #dwts but I didn't realise that you had written the judges comments underneath. What a great idea. Thank you so much for all your hard work in doing so. ;D Glad you liked them. I left a few Damienite ones off, Braffy..as we all know what WE think!! ..it was too fiddly to take them all out. I thought the judges comments were so good too and not everyone would get the full download, so I wanted to get them out there!

www.sportingbet.com.au/betblog/index.php/damien-leith-closes-in-on-manu-feildel/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterDamien Leith Closes In On Manu Feildel June 22, 2011 by Tony Wilmot Damien Leith was the big mover this week in DWTS betting after scoring a perfect 30. Leith wowed the judges and audience, firming into $3.50 and certainly appears to be one of the hardest working contestants on this series. Leith has also already proved his popularity with a voting audience having of course won Australian Idol in 2006. Manu Feildel is still a $1.90 favourite but appears to be falling behind as far as the dancing goes. As we’ve all seen before the best dancer does not always win this show and Feildel’s popularity keeps him right at the head of betting. Punters think either Lara Bingle or Samantha Armytage will be next Sunday night’s casualty with Bingle Backed in from $2.50 to $2.00 and Armytage from $2.60 to $2.50. DWTS WINNER Manu Feildel 1.90 Damien Leith 3.50 Haley Bracken 4.50 Samantha Armytage 7.50 Lara Bingle 11.00 DWTS ELIMINATION 26 JUNE Lara Bingle 2.00 Samantha Armytage 2.50 Haley Bracken 4.50 Damien Leith 14.00 Manu Feildel 17.00

thanks for that info Braffy, wish I was a "betting woman". Did anyone put a bet on back at the opening odds???
Oh, and I could cope with being beaten by another talented dancer in Hayley. But if Manu wins, there is no end to what I'd say and do (and I'm certainly not being pessimistic, coz I know Damien is the best, given what we've seen, I am sadly, being realistic!) . I am breaking into a cold sweat at the mere thought of that happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow I don't think Haley has as much support as D, Deb, and yep, Manu is popular, but Damien is popular as a person, as well as a dancer too. I truly think Damien has a really good chance of winning this, since he'll NO DOUBT continue to score well with the judges. ;D Thanks so much for the tweeets, Smiley! It's wonderful to read them back and feel all the DLurrve out there! and to keep them for our archive.

Yes Very interesting on the betting markets as Centrebet has updated their prices on the DWTS winner. Manu 2.25 Damien 3.25 Sam 5.50 Haley 5.50 Lara 13.00 With both Sporting Bet and Centrebet Damien is the big shortener in betting.

Agree with you Deb.... if Manure wins I'll be so ..... well, you know what I'll be! As Bella said, keep voting and keep other voting for Damien. Hope you're right Bella... if the final comes down to just Damien and Manu, I would think/hope that the people who supported the other celebrities would maybe vote for the best dancer, and we know who that is.

I am stoked now D has got his perfect score. At the beginning I was hoping he'd get to the second half of the comp, and then when he did so well, I was thinking I'd be happy if he made the final 4..I'd still be happy with that cause I am aware it's a popularity contest..and there have been many times when the best dancer hasn't won. I see Manu & Sam as almost insurmountable from viewer votes... Damien has proven himself as the best dancer so I am happy. I know he'll be giving it his all and I want him to win, but I am also being pragmatic..sometimes you just can't beat the machine. That said...am voting like mad and GO Damo!!!!!!!

Anyone else hoping for a full-on Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers routine..complete with tails and spats for D and froth for Mel? youtu.be/2A4-C-MK-PoMel tweeted she is sick with a cold, and that they are rehearsing two dances for this week.

Saw the ad for next week this morning....no surprises that Manu appears more than most. No mention of D's perfect score..no intimation that he even got a perfect score. Interestingly they are saying that the contestants get an hour before the show to "learn their steps" ..I am wondering if this just means they get the music an hour before so they can practise their dance (that they are learning during the week) to the music OR does it mean they have to do the whole thing an hour before? I can't see how that would be even possible so I am hoping it's the former. Manu tweeted that the casting for next series of MKR is about to close soon... I can picture the ads for this show already...big splashes of Manu winning DWTS...
