I'd too love to see D and Mel do a Waltz and the Paso  and I hope they do go first with the mystery dance so they can show the rest of the contestants how it's done. ;D GO DAMIEN AND MEL !  |

Love the news about the upcoming show - only 2 sleeps to go! It's amazing how Damien's dancing has affected my appreciation of the songs they are set to. I didn't like 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars when it first came out. But after that stunning dance in Week 2 when I actually listened to it I love it - especially since i have visions of the dance each time it's played on radio  But the Argentine Tango last week was just out of this world!  sublime. The ad for this week does feature quite a few snippets of D&M. Also, have you seen the DWTS website video labeled as highlights from Week 7 (this is the BTS too, I guess)? Well worth it... It goes straight into the Morning Show's interview with Josh and the big talking up of Damien's progress on the show... lots of D-  happening there! They played it on The Block and I immediately thought of D & Mel's hot dance! Yep the wiki pages on DWTS are great! That's what I have been checking out since day 1. All the seasons are there..I made mention of it a while ago somewhere... but it has all the dances, contestants, scores, week by week, etc etc..really great to compare to this season. They are definitely changing things this year. I don't think they are necessarily for the better..it seems to be more about ratings than ever...this week is a perfect example..both Todd & Josh have said this week that they are hoping for a car crash..(or words to that effect) which is really disappointing. Given that the people "competing" are raising money for charity...they aren't trying to win a recording contract or a million bucks or whatever other reality shows award. Kinda takes the focus off the dancing and makes it about manufactured drama. I want to see Damo & Mel do a VWaltz and a Paso Doble that they have been given the chance to do their best. Not some ridiculous "challenge" that is setting people up to fail. I know both D & Mel will be totally focused on this weeks dances but I don't trust TPTB not to do their darndest to trip them up.. MFU must be protected at all costs.
