Hmmm, was watching THe Morning Show just now and they had Helen on..all the talk was about the judges "fighting" hohum.
But they showed the bit where Helen made the comment about how the music Damien had for the Paso "That wasn't the best choice for a Paso Doble music, would you agree?" and Todd says "so what are you judging me?" ..I wonder is he the one who chose the music for them all for their instant dance? I mean someone had to do it....and they are the one's with all the dance experience.
I've also read somewhere a while back (maybe with the ACDC debacle) that they are given the music each week too..so they have no choice which song they dance to. If this is the case who picks these songs..another way to manipulate the outcome.
Oh god I just watched Damo's Paso then MFU's and it's laughable that MFU was praised for that...I wish I could have them both on a split screen so I can watch them side by side..
So glad this week is over. Clean slate....

Haley is easily the better dancer and Damien is easily the second best but the big question here is --
PUBLIC VOTE
Of the remaining four it appears that Damien and Sam are receiving the most viewers votes.
tis obvious that Haley has had substantial dance training where the other three have little or no training.
Todd----I don't know about him it would appear to me that he would like Manu and Haley in the final but he (Toad Todd ) is a very troubled middle aged man going through some life altering change or something else
If you are on the wrong side of Todd better watch out --poor Lara made a comment about the lack of judging on the DANCING and we all know that this was a red rag to a bull Toad.

I loved both of Damien's dances last night, the scores for his first dance were way to low, and Todds score for the second dance was rubbish. And Manu's scores what a joke, I was really hoping he would go. I loved Damiens shaved chest.

Haley is certainly a good dancer technically, but somehow she just doesn't connect with me.  Her quickstep last night was fantastic, however, I just don't get a sense that she's dancing with sincerity. there's something very plastic about it all.. no ticker, for me. And I have to say the revelations last night about her Zumba teaching just floored me!  The whole point of that excercise program is that it's based on Latin dancing! My DD did it for a while and she had a lot of trouble with the steps and hip movements. If Haley taught it, what a HUGE advantage for her! No wonder she's doing so well! However, who said this contest was fair?  Onwards and upwards for D and Mel -it's SEMIFINALS TIME! WOOP!!  |

OK... .I know the scores  and I know that Lara has gone, but haven't watched the show yet. Couldn't get Ch 7 at DD2's place, but hope to watch it tomorrow at DD1's place - she has recorded it for me. I'm gonna read back now, will post again later but I know you will all be as p........ d off as I am. DD told me Todd was being an a/hole to everybody and to give D a score of 5, well Catch up later. |

There was a time (many eons ago) when I thought this show was legit!!! Just a few comments on the previous posts. Smiley, I just love the pic of D with the boys in the judges box, and goodonya for those tweets. Unfortunately missed Sunday Sunrise as well... sounded good. Haven't looked elsewhere yet - did anybody know Damien was on? Chrism - agree with you wholeheartedly about Manure just standing... have said that all along. The judges obviously are watching his woman, not him. Judging sounds inconsistent as usual and if Toad is the one who selects the music, well   You're 100% right Brian. Being the lady that I am I won't say what I'm really thinking, but Toad can get fumigated in a bucket of sherbet!!Now that that's off my chest, I'll be back tomorrow night after I watch the show. |

Won't be watching next series! We were staying at friends last night...and funny enough...never having watched the show or not quiet following it all comments were but he just stood there and didn't dance so how can he be doing so well?  ?? Agree with nick names.....mine was wanker for Tod last night....but I love the name manure.......... have plenty of it in the paddocks around here without seeing it on prime TV  (sorry that's naughty) Smiley I haven't read right back, but was that your tweet that came up on the show? Wasn't it just gorgeous with the kids and Eils watching on. I hope you get to watch it Glawz, I msg'd with my moment of rage but I am sorry you did not see it live last night. Maybe it was best you didn't you would have felt like many others Keep the faith and just keep voting all! It is frustratingly biased, but it will be seen as really rigged if they ignore the voting. |

Smiley I haven't read right back, but was that your tweet that came up on the show? Yes! I got one on! Woot! I have found peace today..after Kath said she hasn't been as invested as some of us..it made me think about how I am usually with this show..Have never voted before but have had my faves..and when watching it previously I have gone.."oh that is so unfair" or whatever ..and have then moved on. I am behind Damo & Mel 100% and am voting like mad, but I am taking a step back and (trying) to see it for what it is...a bit of fun, light entertainment..whatever the judges do..so be it. It has been thrilling that Damien has taken to this like a duck to water, it has been awesome to see Mel in action, but now that they have made it to final 4 I am OK with whatever happens next. I know they will do their darndest..and that is all they can do. They have won so many hearts and so much respect with what they have done on the show..and that is the icing on the cake. Of course I'll be here on tenterhooks next Sunday..I want them to win! But I am letting go all the angst over the unfairness of it all...'tis just a game afterall. |

A big DITTO!!! ;D Damien is so cool  about it all, he's been there, done that in comps before, so he'll just use it as further motivation to KICK MAJOR BUTT next week. ;D However, making it this far is absolutely freakin brilliant for both of them and I'm so darned PROUD of our gorgeous man.   Falling for ratings -generating hype is really rather silly, anyway! LOL!   |
