Adam and Jade Brand are the guests tonight and we go shopping with them.
Lots of Christmas goodies are being cooked tonight.

What a fantastic episode. Not only did I see the ad for Roy for the first time but I also saw the Myer/Estee Lauder ad featuring 'Beautiful'. The food looked delicious. The kitchen gadget was a juicer. Gawd Damien can get into a mess with those  Glenn mentioned about Damien being Irish because he was making such a mess. He had more juice over himself than in the bowl. One of the ones he tested he did upside down  Did I mention the food looked yummy *slurp, slurp* Pork crackling. Oh so crunchy. Gravy, roast etc. Adam Brand and Damien together were funny too. Loved the show. |

 Loved the show! Really nice to see Adam Brand together with Damien! Edit - Got my Adams mixed up there for a moment! Fixed now! Loved hearing some singing in the kitchen too (hope Damo will do some singing while cooking as well now Adam's set the precedence ;D ) Adam seems to be a lovely guy and great real rapport between them, lots of laughs in the segment and Damien seemed so relaxed all episode, he really seemed to be having such a good time and it came across all show!  The Christmas cooking looked absolutely wonderful!  Lol I have never seen anyone bite into a capsicum lke an apple before  That was interesting that they recommended steaming the charred capsicum in a bowl before peeling, normally I'd plunge them into ice water then peel - how does everyone else do it? I'll give the New Idea way a try. It's a fiddly old task though whichever way and these days I just tend to buy them ready done, love them. The juicer segment was soooo funny, Damien was like a walking juice smoothie by the end I've got the same wooden juicer and is fantastic! If you want to avoid pips when using it, just put a strainer over the lid of the bowl you're juicing into. I'd been tempted to buy one of those lime press juicers til I saw the segment but now might stick with what I've got! Wardrobe report - dazzling Cobalt!of!Tv!Fabulousness!  tonight - gorgeous colour for tv and not one we see Damien wear often - looked great! Added bonus was seeing the ROY and Beautiful by Estée Lauder ads as well!! Really enjoyed the whole show, looking forward to next week!

Damien looked smokin' hot in the 'cobalt!of!TV!fabulousness! tonight! I like that look and that colour on him!!
Very funny - I enjoy the trials of the gadgets, obviously not rehearsed that segment, which makes it very amusing!! todays was very messy!! lol!!
Damien seemed very relaxed this week, who would've thought he could front a cooking show!!

Tina, in an interview that Damien did prior to the show starting he mentioned that he and Glenn got on really well and that they were given pretty much free reign during their segments so it is all off the cuff which is why it is so funny. |

Especially when they tested the last of the juicers out and Damien was doing it wrong, and the other guy (forgot his name) was like, "Oh, you're Irish, I forgot!" Btw, I too was surprised when D took a huge bite out of that capsicum. WTH! Never known someone to do that.  Ooo! And that Blue shirt! Srum-diddly-umpous |

LOL at D eating the capsicum, and also the juicers bit. Was VERY surprised to see the Estée Lauder ad - I didn't realise that was being shown in Australia. I wish they played more of the song though. Is there a longer version of the ad? The Roy ad was a nice surprise too, haven't seen that for a while.  |

Yet again another truly enjoyable show with all crew seeming to have a great time. The production is very slick, run so well and moves with ease. Love the 'off the cuff' section with D and Glenn  nice little mess. Have to say from the start of the show to the end I sit with a huge smile on my face, reckon D has developed into an entertaining host (again) as he was on his first TV show 'Saving Kids' ;D |

Thanks for the link Braffy... I set the recorder before we went away at the weekend but it didn't record  so I appreciate at least being able to see some of it. Love the bit with Adam Brand talking to Damien about DWTS - when he said D should have won it!!!! Have to agree!! |
