Off on a 3 night getaway with the DD's soon, may have to catch your reports when I get back. I know how good it would have been , but still want to hear it from the horse's mouth. That doesn't sound so good .

 Hey Spuddles! Was nice catching up with you and all the other Tarts
(male and female) I haven't seen in a while.

The Sydney ladies  will report the details, but we had another incredible night with Damien, the band and Diana at the spectacular "early Rococo-over-the-top" unbelievably grand State Theatre. 

Before we arrived there,  however, we had shenanigans galore re our accommodation. Long story, Nicki will tell it best (she saved our bacon) but man, you've never seen such a kerfuffle and monumental stuff-ups by hotel staff! ::)They eventually put things to rights with free champagne for Our Hut and discounted rooms, but believe me, we earned them.

Back to the gig- 'twas amazing seeing D playing to so many in such a spec venue. We weren't all together, unfortunately, but Damienites were well represented in the front row. Loved every minute. Chair-danced,  clapped  and sang like a mad thing with Carla. 

Afterwards we got to talk to Teh Man in TehBlackShirtOf Hawtness at the back of a long signing queue.

Am missing my gorgeous buddies already. I'm heading north to visit my brother after a fabulous night. Wanna do it all over again!  ;D

Hi, we have seen Damien's fantastic concert at State Theatre in Sydney yesterday, too. Of course, it was a great show, we had an absolutely wonderful night!!! THANK YOU DAMIEN, YOU ARE REALLY THE BEST!!!

After the show all Damienites and friends had a little chat with him, incl. signing and photos. We gave Damien a small gift - a photo collection sheet about his shows last year. He was happy.
We think Braffy and Dawn will write detailed reports (they can do it better than we).

However, we will put new videos into YouTube tomorrow (for example the Songs "Beautiful" and "Leah"). Braffy, you know our YouTube channel. So would you please transfer these videos to the DLO Website? Thank you very much.

Finally: What a pity that the State Theatre concert was Damien's final show in Sydney this year. Have you any idea how we all can survive the coming months without Damien???

I will write more when I have time to put it properly but thank you to Spud and Trilly and 2Damienfans for the posts so far.

Also, I was the lucky winner of the AuspOp competition and the 2 ladies that I gave the tickets to had not seen/heard of Damien before and they came up to me afterwards with big grins on their faces and couldn't thank me enough for giving the opportunity to attend.
(One of their husbands who is a musician, when told by his wife that she was going to be seeing Damien Leith told her that it should be a good concert)
