Hey Smiley! Lovely to see you about.  Geez, talk about rubbing salt, ya poor thing.  QPAC needs a swift kick.  The room dramas were funny, then annoying, then bloody annoying, then farcical. I felt like going downstairs and calling for Baaaassssiiiiilllll! However,yep, all turned out well in the end. Twas a little mini DFest and I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. DLO is so much more than just what we see here.   |

I can laugh about it all now..........and yes I could have called out BASSSSIIILLLLLL too! Thanks Nikki for coming to my rescue, I am glad we had a go between door. Actually thanks Nikki for getting it all sorted in the end. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.......I have some great memories and I am still gigglling DLO is much more than you see here Trilly. I have met some wonderful people and have had some wonderful times. And again it was just fantastic to meet everyone in Sydney! Damiens music has had a huge impact in our lives, there are just so many wonderful memories and unfortunately some sad ones too. PS I dreamt about Basil last night  erk! I am thinking of a letter too, just for the reason that Tim the Manager did not handle the situation or perform his role as Manager at all well. Its not about how I feel, its more about it happening to someone else and the accommodation was great, the cafe there was great, they will loose business if they are not aware of what is happening. |

What a mix up with the rooms. I wouldn't have liked to have been any of the staff there at the hotel.  But glad it was all sorted out. ;D Plugger, I'm sure we will meet one day. Sounds like a fantastic time was had by all.  I loved reading all your reports. ;D Thank you.  |

Hi everyone, sorry its taken me so long to get in here, I just haven't had much time to get onto the computer.
It was such a lovely weekend and it was fantastic to catch up with everyone again especially our honourary Melbournians Carla and Plugger, we all had such a great time together aside from the stuffg up with the rooms.
Like Krissy said, we sat up on the top level, it was really different up there, but the show was just fantastic, Damien never ceases to amaze me, he gets better every time I see him, he is also very generous with his time giving everyone an opportunity to say hello and get photo's with him, he's just wonderful.
I hope we hear some news about some more shows soon, it's kind of strange not having anything Damien to look forward to.
Thanks everyone for making the weekend a really special one, I can't wait to do it again.

I can't wait to do it again either Sue! It was so much fun! I am looking forward to meeting you to Bella and some other DLO'ers too, hopefully one day soon. Nikki......I am still giggling some wonderful memories.......and I just luv that houmli (not sure how it is spelt) cheese now! Hooked on it! Will have to watch the waste line though! |
