Wow! Thanks Carla. This is great news for Damien. He certainly is a well-loved guest (nearly one of the family there). Just a shame though that I still have problems receiving anything from Ch 7 I'll have to wait till it's up on podcast. Just as well anyway cause I'll be on the road by then too! Is the show still showing from 9 - 11 am (after Sunrise)? oh, I just saw this tweet: Sony Music Australia @sonymusicau Make sure you tune into The Morming Show tomorrow at 9:50am to see Damien Leith performing 'Hear Comes The Sun'! sweeet!

Aah, that was better. A bit of a vid retrospective, finishing with the new "Beautiful". ;D Haha, I thought the "banoffee" biscuit just before he sang might be an issue! With Chris on the keys, Cesar and a guitarist we don't know, sang "Here Comes The Sun", very laid back... With sticky fingers on the guitar! Excellent plug for the album from Laz and Kylie too. Hehe, Larry called him"little darlin" Short and sweet.. Very sweet for D!

I was worried that I had missed it, because I received a phone call at 9.40 and when I finished I turned the telly on and it came up on the Channel 9 Morning show. They were talking about Darren Hayes and I stopped to watch/listen. I then turned it over to 7 just prior to 9.50 and someone had tweeted which gave me the impression that Damien had already been on However, I kept it on and at 10 Damien was on. I must congratulate the Morning Show on the terrific introduction that they did with a bit of history, vid clips from the winning night on Idol, To Get to You and finishing off with Beautiful like Trilly has mentioned. While I was watching Damien singing I was feeling a little bit disappointed. He seemed almost lazy as he was singing and I thought he must have been tired. He still sounded good but I have heard him better. However, after Damien sang and Larry and Kylie interviewed him Damien mentioned how the banoffee was still sticking in his mouth and that he had trouble opening his mouth I feel better knowing the explanation. Poor guitar with the sticky fingers too.

Kinda glad you said that, Braff. He sounded a little wonky to me too, I must admit..but not being able to open his mouth properly wouldn't have been great! Do have to chuckle though, Damien and his sweet tooth!
