Here we go, setlist and comments from Saturday night!

He started off with Halfway Heart (one of my favourites) <3
A Million Reasons, after which he informed us that he changed one of the lines because it sounded a bit much saying you wanted to spend a lifetime with someone you didn't really know.
This lead him into singing Let's Get It On (seriously never gone so red in my life, thank goodness it was dark and I wasn't with my parents lol ) Couldn't stop laughing through that one! Terrific!
Time to Go was next.
The Lonely Nights - he dedicated it to DLO!
See You Again was described as a wish you could get it on moment.
I Can Stop You Crying (Stop? More like start... )
Only the Lonely (don't understand my notes here, I have 'u off' written but stuffed if I know what I meant!)
LAST SAD SONG!!! - Quite possibly my all time favourite Damien song, loved the snippet and it was just so much better in full!
Never Forget - couldn't remember the name of this one when he played it, but a quick look at the setlist afterwards fixed that
Hallelujah - such a beautiful song, love it when he does this one
You and I - You can tell how proud he is of this song (and rightly so, it is brilliant!)
Without a Fight - for some reason made me cry. Still trying to figure that one out...
Get Lucky - Daft Punk cover. Love this song, so funky and awesome
Pretty Woman - Another favourite
Faith in Me - Final song of the night and the perfect song to settle everyone down and finish the evening with.

So is it November yet?



It was such a great night out. I'd especially like to thank Glawzy and Plugz for making it possible for me to go, and being all-round lovely people who looked after me so well I didn't feel like I needed to sit rocking in a corner. You guys are awesome!

Well..thanks for all your reports kiddies...and Dr Loki excellent work on the set list not much else to add except of course Kudos to Damien..on the amazing performance as always and to Eric as well with their new bags of tricks..it made for a much more well rounded sound..lots of fun for them and us..

I had been listening as usual to the lovely snippets of Chapter 7 and to hear them whole and live just as always was perfection..lol..sigh, I love every one of them..beautiful melodies and lyrics..He was very chuffed and excited and as said a wee bit nervous..but we knew that it was going to be a hit with the audience as he always gives everything and luckily he usually gets it right back..and small correction Trills..he got 2 standing ovations.. well deserved..so hanging out till the end of October for my LARGE PACKAGE to arrive so the cd can reside permanently in my players car and home..and dvd.. lucky for us it is only a little while now to wait again..for the 30th Nov..

Of course it was even better to share it with the other Melbourne DLO 's who are awesome girls...and lovely to re-meet Plugger and to meet DOC..who was very stylish, looking forward to seeing them both again soon x...   so sorry Nixter couldn't make it.. An Especially big thank you to Di for a lift and the company of Pam and Lily..its a long way home alone to Frankston..lol. to all of us lucky girls..

Well forgot the lovely Hunter Adams..forgive still in teh Coma.. , She was very very good..am definitely a fan now..beautiful thoughtful singer songwriter as Trilly said a good funny patter as well truly a delight..plus enjoyed our participation with a nice smile and patience...

Very well said Krissy and Anny, and great job with the set list Doc. It was a pleasure to have you join us and we hope we made you feel like you are part of the group.
Great to catch up with all the tarts as they had a get together when I wasn't feeling that well, but this night well and truly made up for it, ace stuff.

There's so much drooling going on around here, glad to see everyone is the same. Just bowled over by the songs and the man, he is so bloomin' NICE!

I'm so much in a coma that I'm actually lost for words, that's why I'm so appreciative of everybody else's reports

I'm finally here and able to do my report, the other girls have summed it all up beautifully, I wasn't even sure I was going to this show at first but I'm soooo glad that I did, Damien was the right medicine. His original songs are just so amazing, I was in awe of him the whole night, I loved all of his new originals and I was very proud that I didn't turn into a blubbering mess several times, Damien made me smile and forget all of my troubles for a while.
He is sooooo wonderful
I am so looking forward to getting my package in the mail too and bring on the tour, I want to hear more
Thanks to all the other Melbourne and country it so nice when we all go out together, especially when Damien is involved.
I really enjoyed listening to Hunter also, her songs were really catchy, she gave everyone in the audience a free copy of her cd, I listened to it on Sunday and really enjoyed it.
