This Album is gorgeous Damiens voice is stunning, the song he sings with his sister is lovely.
I love the song he sings with Sharon Corr, I wish there was a video to that song.

Good to see Damien in the charts again.
Top effort to be at No 11
Actually there is no album that he has released that should not have been in the top 20.
His upcoming shows should be sellouts I would think.
His voice seems to getting even better if that's possible

Agree with you about Damien's voice Brian. Just when you think he can't get any better he does! I just love "Carrickfergus" - it shows what Damien can do with his vocals... brilliant.

Ditto, have to agree, I think his voice is getting better.
I think the shows would nearly have to be sell outs Brian? So far so good. Interested to see how they go in the regional areas, have fingers crossed for him.

Zeeta, that is ridiculous that they haven't arrived. Keep on them. I hope they have arrived now.
Pre orders are counted in the first week. If anyone has gone into a store to buy the CD before release date those ones don't count.
Some stores put the CD's out as soon as they arrive at the store instead of putting them out on the correct day.

Yes braffy they have arrived, I was asking about sales counting in the Aria charts as JB HI-FI posted their CD's on the 11th of March so I wasn't sure if they would count, Sanity posted theirs on the 13th.

I have already written a report Glawz, it's at the top of this page. It's not very long but if he sings those songs at his Parting Glass show no wonder he got standing ovations.

The album is at #16 on the ARIA chart this week and #6 on the Australian Chart

#16 is not to bad seeing as he has had no TV or anything, and it doesn't help that a Sanity Store in a big South West City likes to hide his new albums down on the bottom shelf behind copies of his Winners Journey Album where nobody can see them.

Zeeta I have a little friend....not naming anyone....her name is Crackling Rose . Quiet a card. On a shopping spree with one of Damian's previous releases to check out where they were on the shelving, she would move them. Hahah it was an absoliute cackle went to a few stores......funny .....became number 1 instantly!

Haha...CR has always done that..lol..crack up for sure but they always put em' back lol.. I used to do that in Target and places like that..move them to a more prominent postition..haha, even in Sanity too.. I was in JB last friday and he was still in 10 very prominent position. Have bought a hard copy now and will be a few more bought for Mothers Day etc.. As have said love Irish music..loved the Corrs always and Damien sound fantastic as usual though I love the duets especially with Aine beautiful.. Always be kind to yourselves and others and remember you first to take care xxo  |
