The closest one to me is probably Gosford, unless there's more dates to come.

Laycock St Theatre GOSFORD February 18, 2017 Show started at 8pm and finished just after 10pm for the meet and greet. We had the band enter: Eric, Chris, Jess, Zoltan and Fabio, then Damien looking super fit and happy. He was in the total black look with a silver grey tie First song * Blue Angel and we heard the story about the trip to pick up Jess in the hail storm and how they parked under a tree. The car ended up covered in leaves and was that way when we saw it at the end of the night then * Ooby Dooby * Only the Lonely * I Drove All Night then we were treated to the dancing Damien Leith with side hip bumps in * Working for the Man, then a singalong with * Sweet Dreams Baby * Love Hurts and we heard about time when Damien was living in Milltown and he would sing to the cows, but he grabbed the electrified fence and went home with his hair on end * In Dreams and * Leah INTERVAL Damien then came back for solo songs and sang a song written with Joe Melson * Faith in Me and * Mystery Girl the band returned for * You Got It and * Penny Arcade. Damien was given a gift of a red tshirt with HERE I AM Now what are your other 2 wishes in white I wrote on the bag wishes 1,2 & 3 are the same To the Talented, awesome Damien Leith xxxx he said he'd keep the tshirt and not give it Eric cat for a play thing like past gifts, although I believe the lovely Jess inadvertently ended up with one "puppet" Next * Running Scared and * Blue Bayou with Jess in duet then we had some more dancing in * Mean Woman Blues Damien then hooked on the Mandolin (a gift from his parents) and decided to allow people to name it on FB * End of the Line * It's Over, then * Handle With Care and Damien left the stage but returned for the encore of * Pretty Woman A large section of the sell-out audience were up for a standing ovation. The audience was an older group who obviously enjoyed the music. Damien went outside for the meet and greet. The gorgeous Eils was there and we had a chance to catch up with her, Chris, Eric, Jess and of course Damien, who ia always generous with his time. Was lovely to rock the Theatre with Braffy and her daughter. Thanks for an energetic and fantastic night of entertainment. Keep an ear out for Eric's new sound. Sorry, I had it written in my notebook, but he did do * Crying after MWB.

Thanks for that Dawn.
I have been to a lot of Damien's ROY Shows, especially in 2011 when he did the full ROY tour. The show at Gosford on Saturday night I would rate as the best one I have been to.
Hearing songs for the first time was a bonus. I loved everything about it except that it ended.
A bonus also was that there was an ice cream cart that came into the venue at interval. Yum, yum. It knew to stop in front of us. Clever cart.
I'm really pleased that I still have the postponed 10th Anniversary concert at Cessnock to go to. Damien has confirmed that it will be a mixture of 10th Anniversary and ROY ORBISON Hall of Fame Tour

Excellent work Dawn, more surprising that he didn't do Crying! Great set list, I love all of those songs and looking forward to the 'new' ones, hope he does them at least one night.

Latrobe (Traralgon) Performing Arts Centre 24/2/17
Sold out concert but there were 76 extra seats, i.e. three rows added in front of where we were sitting, didn't block our view as the rest of the seating was elevated. We were right in the centre of the row, great seats. Started a bit late because they opened the doors a bit late and it took lots of time for everyone to file in.
We had Eric, Chris, Jess, Steve and Cesar on the stage doing the warm up intro and Damien came leaping on in his black suit with silver grey tie, niiice! Straight into:
* Blue Angel * Ooby Dooby * Only the Lonely * I Drove all night * Working for the man * Sweet Dreams * Love Hurts * In Dreams * Leah INTERVAL Damien came out solo * I can stop you Crying * Mystery Girl * You Got it * Penny Arcade * Running Scared * Blue Bayou with Jess * Mean Woman Blues plus Johnny B Good * Crying * End of the Line * It's over * Handle with Care Encore: *Pretty Woman
It was a fantastic show, Braffy I know exactly what you mean about the ripping show. It was fantastic and loved the new songs. As usual Damien was in fine voice, the lady next to me was impressed with his vocal range. We loved the rocky songs which opened the show, got everybody into it really well. The crowd was pretty much senior, but all very enthusiastic and huge applause after each song which warmed the cockles of my heart so it must have done wonders for Damien's confidence. The usual funny banter up on stage between Damien and Eric and my word, Damien is getting so good at the ad-libbing, very funny.
The lineup for meet and greet was pretty long, the staff were not hassling us to move on quickly or anything so it was a nice chance to have a chat to people in the queue. General consensus is that he's gorgeous, talented, they love him and can't wait until he comes back again!
As for me, cloud nine is not the word. As he did all of my favourite Roy songs (the ones with the high 'chest' notes) I was fanning myself with my hand to calm myself down, goosebump material. Can't wait to do it all again tonight!!

Fabulous report Gloria, thank you.
I'm thrilled that you had the same response that I did to the new songs on the setlist.
I hope you have had the same reaction to the next show.

Karralyka, Ringwood. 25th February, 2017
Sorry have not been back on the forum since the Traralgon show, but I did post some photos of both Traralgon and Ringwood. The set list was the same with one exception, Faith in me, instead of I can Stop You Crying. Full house, the audience were a bit younger than at Traralgon. I had two friends from the car club attending and they loved it, said they know what I'm talking about, loved his voice. Also my cousin and her daughter, loved it and said almost the same thing. My DD Rowena went with her GF, Rowena of course loves Damien, but her friend had never seen him before and was impressed. They both said it was a fantastic show. The others were Damien 'virgins' too so new fans will never go astray. Hope they come to more shows in the future. We were in the front row, and it was excruciating! The seats were sooooo close to the stage you had to bend your knees to put your feet on the stage wall. Much too close, could see Damien's nose hairs! At least I'll know if I ever go to this theatre again not to sit in the front row. The audience loved it, soaked it up like sponges, many lovely comments from those in the queue. Fantastic show.

Sounds like an amazing show Gloria. How good was that hearing the Comments from all the newbies. We all know of course how good Damien is and it's always lovely to hear of other people discovering it too.
That's bad about your seats. You must have felt stiff at the end of the night.
I notice that you are at another concert tonight and that Dawn, Plugger, Di, Princey are there too. Have a wonderful time.
