Just dashing in to leave a quick teaser...
There are 2 Very Happy Little Damienites this morning (one with a Jameson's induced hangover I'd say).
All were doing fine when I left them at about 1am this morning...though one was "in a party mood" so lord knows what happened to them ... lol!

Hi guys A very enjoyable night was had by all Will write about our lovely evening later in the private section (there's already a thread there in Concerts and Appearances, - that forum is also for us to have a chat about our get togethers as well.) The evening raised a lot of money for the Special Olympics and the athletes who are going to go to the World Games this year, and seeing a lot of the star athletes from the team on stage last night was very moving and inspirational. Peter Overton hosted the evening and gave a very stirring speech on how the athletes achieve so much to be in the team, and Paula Duncan was also there and gave a lovely talk. There was live music throughout and a gorgeous 16 year old singer who performed who had written a song for the organisation when she was in Yr 10 I think they said. Her name is Bianca Nati. The other performers were Alfio Bonanno, the Michael Prestipino Band and comedian Paul Martell who amazed everyone with his impersonations and ability to memorise! The Special Olympics Gala is a beautiful and inspirational evening and I really recommend it to anyone to go next year. There were a lot of people last night who I met who were telling me how much they enjoy and look forward to the evening every year I'm going to be out for the day but will be back later with further stories in the members areas. We'll be talking about the auctions etc in that private area. It was wonderful to meet Karen (from the SO) and spend a great evening with all the members who attended!

Paul Martell was and I think still is married to Jane Scali a former member of Young Talent Time and a very good entertainer in her own right.
