thank god D isnt doing an upbeat number...he has been spared the indignity of having teenagers dressed in sneakers and satin bounce around behind him... although those little girls in the tutus are cute!  bah humbug  |

OMG, this is boring so far! Am I the only one on the planet who hates the Wiggles?  When is Damien appearing? Why can't we watch 2 hours of just him singing Christmas Carols - that'd be my idea of a decent Carols By Candlelight.   |

Bad song choice Guy...The First Noel needed 2 key changes to get it sounding OK...then the falsetto was dodgy! (Why is Guy doing 2 songs if D is only going to do 1??!?)
(Actuallly...I like Guy usually...but nothing on D!)

Predict I will be in tears when D sings...was already getting emotional watching the Wiggles!! Something to do with my 2 Little Ones being sound asleep, DH is out...it's Sat. night and I'm in front of the Telly...hmmm... Christmas carols are v. emotional for me...lol!

I'm surprised they didn't ask Damien to also sing "Waiting On An Angel" - that'd be a perfect Christmas song. I may be unpopular for saying this, but I think Guy Sebastian is rather overrated. Sure, he's got a great voice, but compared to Damien, he comes a very poor second. |

Yeah... Guy is brilliant but his voice doesn't compare to Damien's.
I'm sure you're not the only person on the planet who hates the Wiggles, sunshine. I quite like them though. (I have 4 young nephews and have watched the videos with them when they were younger, so that might have something to do with it!) It's all the other cheesy kids' acts that get to me.

I guess it depends on the age group. I know kids love them! Am I correct that Guy has a contract with the Seven Network? Maybe that's why he's doing the 2 songs tonight. We ought to be grateful Damien was even invited - his performances on SUNRISE obviously helped. |
