Sounds like you had fun... braff.
Just had a look on the B.O.M and heres the forecaste, its not actually looking too bad! Looks like we may get there after all.

The weather should be OK tonight. It's starting to fine up here in Sydney. I want to see thousands of mesmerised people tonight, with candles in their hands, as Damien sings, then a huge cheer rings out from the Domain.  Yes, I can actually see the sun. Let's hope that it lasts. I can walk to the Domain but I can't see hubby agreeing to go. Oh well. Nice report braffy. He blew you a kiss, you lucky thing.  |

We just got back from the Domain - the kids and I went to go to the mini carnival which started at 12, then we went into the city to see the Big Xmas Tree in Martin Place, and then the Xmas window displays at David Jones.
Just as we were leaving the city it was startign to get cool and sprinkly - so anyone heading in should go prepared for cold night and possible rain I would say. My kids are going in with thier dad tonight, so I'm busy dressing them with warm clothes/raincoats/closed shoes as a precaution.
It was already a good third full at midday - huge number of tents and tarpaulins.

Thanks for the weather updates Dede - I am going to take a warm jacket then! Lol, Damien's got us all frantic looking at the weather forecasts today  Flynn - too funny about your friend screaming forgetting you're trying to hear Damien on the phone! Can't wait!!! Have wanted to go for years and something always gets in the way - but this year we're going!! |

Hey guys...
Hope all of you that are goin to the carols have an awesome time. I would be goin but the weathers pretty crap plus we had to take friends to the airport. Its all good tho. I got to do what I do best and cook for a hole heap of friends and we're all sittin in front of the heater next to the crissy tree watchin the carols. Perfect weather for that! Hope you have a great night, i must admit I envy you but hot chocolate, good food and some good friends next to the heater is still pretty awesome!!!

They just said they'd been speaking backstage to one of the night's big stars and I got all jittery thinking they were going to cross to an pre recorded backstage interview with D...when they just introduced Rags the Dog & his band (some Channel 7 kids show...?!)
Talk about a one track mind...lol!
