Ah gj, your life sounds life heaven on earth at the moment! You're staying in a lovely hotel room overlooking Sydney Harbour, you've been to two Damien concerts thus far, you've been kissed by Damien tonight. What next? Who won the backstage passes tonight? Did the girls behave themselves? OK, I'll stop with the questions but are you able to tell us a little more pleeeeaaaase? No one backstage tonight --- but I am on the case to try and get it sorted.........trust me

Wow, great reports from the Damienites! I'm so proud of Damien, especially for doing "Celebration" last night: what better way to stick it up Mark and Kyle? One thing I'm curious about: how many blokes are in the audience? Is it overwelmingly crazy female fans? For all of us unable to go to these shows: is it possible Damien might release a live DVD?

He was just incredible last night. He was so much more relaxed, as Dede said, and the voice was even better, if that's possible. I'm so upset that Dede and I had to leave early, but we both have big days today. God knows what that lot got up to. I'll have to read about it in the Bahamas. ;D

My belated tuppence worth... last night was BRILLIANT!!! Better than the first night, even though (or perhaps because ) I wasn't in the front row. Celebration was wicked but I have to say that *********NO-ONE******** in the front row got up to boogie for that number, DESPITE it having been established that the Damienites would (quote/unquote) "go off" if he did.....hmmmmmmmm. Glad he played this one (though only a short version) Only less that glowing comment I'd make (sorry D....) was the wardrobe...all the blokes in the audience were better dressed than D! Jeans & t-shirt looked fine, but wasn't what I was expected at Swoon city (call me old fashioned... ) Where was one of D's beautiful shirt collection - sans t-shirt underneath perhaps? (I know it's hot under the lights but...such is the life of a Star...) But...apart from that picky point...it was a funtarstic, relaxed performance by D... ;D (*wishes she was going tonight as well*!) Lovely to meet all the Damienites...the bluff bar was a-full of gossiping again. My DH really enjoyed the show too and I noticed the gender ratio in the audience actually wasn't so lop-sided as I thought. Lots of couples and the whole crowd really enjoyed the show, I felt. Also, sitting a bit further back I could appreciate the "theatricality" of the light show/effects, which I totally didn't get the first night (but also, highlighted the incongruity of the t-shirt look...sorry again D...call me dede2! lol!) Looking forward to Sunday...but worried my kids will think it's Too Loud and / or ask "Mummy, why is Damien doing that?" in a really loud voice during the dramatic quiet that is a room full of people entranced in Hallelujah....which was DIVINELY AMAZING last night btw...!

Thanks for the recap morgs I saw the pics of the red tshirt and thought he looked cute (lithe, but cute )...but I know what you mean about wearing a shirt. He looks so lovely when he dresses up a little *coughmassivehintthereDifyouarereadingcough* I'm crossing fingers for a shirt in Melbourne.....and no Celebration

Now I feel bad! I was filming (like Shim), so I couldn't even clap or hoot. LOL I thought the audience gave a good enough reaction though. And don't worry, I think the front row Damienites gave him enough grief last night - he didn't need us getting up and making dicks of ourselves while he was singing Celebration

I'm crossing fingers for a shirt in Melbourne.....and no Celebration Celebration was only a verse and chorus kind of thing...and was an "added extra" ie didn't replace any of the other songs in the playlist...and sounded great (even though I would never listen to listen to anyother of the version of the song by choice) Now were' not asking for teh suit with Saville Row pink "cheque" shirt but...a shirt ? even if that means the casino has to come up with a very indiscreet huge white bathtowel for mop up duties on stage (that's SWEAT mop up ...not DROOL mop up, in case your wondering) Actually Carlene had a GREAT idea about towels...do I say? (gotcha wondering...?!)

Heeee! It was a great performance! Can't wait to see the Celebration footage! He's a brave man! I didn't jump up because I didn't want to put him off! I thought if he saw a row of Damienites moshing right in front of him he might freak out and move back even further behind the band I wasn't around for the gossip either, and since I can't remember anyone's names I'll let someone else tell the story It was great to meet everyone! ;D

It was a reasonable mix sunshine --- mostly female but quite a few blokes as well.....
