Hey Oz - i think I was the E  . am i right? anyway, so to begin with Oz was the I and nobody was the N. As Mark came on stage Oz declared that she had no batteries in her camera and made a hasty retreat. Ah2 must have been the M at that stage. As the lights went down, the missing Damienite - Irishscorpio came in and sat down next to me on the N. Mark WIlkinson came on and introduced himself (noone was going to ask who he was tonight) and sang his first song. He has a really nice pleasant voice, and he is pretty cute. Then he said that the second song was a cover (i can't remember, is it called Go Crazy?) and that he was dedicating to a "certain lady who is in the front row tonight and who's name is Crazy something or other... this is for you"    - my first thoughts went to Wombat, but it turns out the culprit was gj  okay so that was my night. No not me Crazy!! I sugget you look for someone in Red ----- the song was called "Crazy" and original by Gnarls Barkley |

Ha ha Crazy - I think I taped Mark dedicating that song to you, but I have to check and will be able to get back to you on the weekend - I love that Crazy song btw!!
And Oz & Crazy- you terrible two!! Damien singing to you into your eyes and you have run off with Mark!!!

oh there was more ? okay as we fell about laughing, i turned to the new girl to my left and said "are you Irishscorpio, because i happen to be that Crazy - but you can call me crazyinlove". I really chilled out listening to Mark and I think that if i heard his songs a few more times i could be really hooked. crushangel came back in and sat in Oz's seat, Oz came in and sat further along. tehn it was the break. Irish, Oz and I headed to swoon city's answer to the Hut and caught up with all the goss. irish and i swooned over Mark and his physique. Shimmery and morgaine came over to say hello and we all stood around chatting. it was so brilliant. everyone is so different to how i pictured them, but in the best possible way. btw Irish is just gorgeous. and then Damien came on. Now ah2 was sitting in the I seat - i'm starting to wonder if i smell  . I could write another chapter about the show - but somehow i think everyone else has recapped it allpretty well. i thought we were all remarkably well behaved - maybe too well behaved . i felt very at home in the company of my Damien family watching Damien. it just felt like all was right with the world. ah2 and i were toe tapping, clapping and swaying along to all the songs - which is why my shoulders are so bruised today  we weren't too well coordinated with our swaying (sorry ah2). ah2 shot me a couple of dirty looks - at least you understand me ah2, with me being a gemini (one of me wanted to go one way and the other one of me wanted to go the other) . Damien acknowledged the familiar faces in the front row. i personally liked his get up - would have preferred him in leathers, but would i have been able to contain myself? the show was over way way way too quickly. another couple of hours would have been good. kicking myself that i can't go to any of the other shows. yes, before anyone else asks, we were all a little bit miffed about the backstage pass thing, but its all good. and i'm sure it will be sorted out soon. so after the show we all got together for photos and drinks - we had to remind ourselves that our beds weren't upstairs (except for gj & ange) and that we couldn't stay chatting till the early hours as trains needed to be caught (and i needed to head to Coles for nappies  ). but i swear we could have sat there all night. the men (shims BF & Oz's brother) joined us and they were just great. i really felt like i made some great new friends last night. it was so amazing. i just can't wait to meet the rest of you i'm posting up photos in the photo section and in the members only |

i felt very at home in the company of my Damien family watching Damien. it just felt like all was right with the world. That's EXACTLY how I felt in the first row and even up the back last night - with my Damien family and all was right with the world. I thought I'd be a nervous wreck that close to the stage and it was just so happy, we were all instantly friends as we all are here. Such memories to treasure!! You guys going to the next concerts have so much to look forward to! Thanks for those lovely words about BF Crazy - he loved meeting you all and had a real laugh and it was great meeting B4 as well! |

Aww... Dede arranged your seats for you? She must have been really scared about what you might get up to if left to your own devices. Oh, and what a surprise, you're squabbling over the support act. Poor Mark. Wow, Crazy, you got a song dedication! I'm loving these reports! ;D |
