Mozaic that's so fantastic, we were looking forward to your report! Wow Mysterri sounds like your daughter had a great night - she got backstage!? Sounds Damien was lovely as usual!  Glad the 'mob' didn't go on the stage - it sounds like the first night in Sydney - people in the "mesmeric trance"! Yeah Shims, I'm totally thrilled that my daughter managed to get backstage to meet Damien. I suggested that she wander over to the stage after the show and enquire about seeing Damien backstage and that's all it took. I still have the eerie feeling sometimes that our posts to the forum are read and conveyed to a higher power if you get my drift? |

You're welcome shimmery Glad to share! mysterri, there was a sign as you go in that that says (in symbols) no cameras, camera phones, videos etc. I think it's probably a standard thing at that venue, rather than specific to Damien. Just guessing though. I'm sure lots of people did sneak camera pics. I did see a couple of flashes go off, but an attendant quickly moved to the area and hovered, and they stopped. Is the venue a casino Mozaic? If it is, that may be the reason for the no camera rule. The Sydney girls mentioned that they weren't even allowed to take photos in the bar, well away from the gambling tables. |

Yes we were told off everynight for taking piccys in casino HUT, but not in the Theatre which was outside of Casino |

How do they stop people taking camera phones in? Going to checkout if the bris venue says anything about camera's. But it's not a casino so it should be ok, I hope  Although isn't Star City a casino or not? I'll just have to put it close to my chest when I take a pic and I won't be using a flash so they won't see that. Or maybe I could pretend I no speek tha ingleesh ;D |

Yes but if they are escorting me I won't get to hear Damien sing  It is a dumb rule especially since your at a concert and there's no gambling in that actual room  The Norths Leagues and Services Club doesn't mention anything about no camera's it just says appropriate clothing etc. And you can't wear thongs  Who's looking  |

Could be because it's a casino.. and maybe it's hard for performers to concentrate with all the flashes going off? As for camera phones, they didn't check .. but it would have been pretty easy to see if someone had one on, if it lit up. It was mostly seating around tables and easy to see from the back. But I'm sure there were some taken by someone! |

OMG People ran up on stage?  ?? this is going to be an interesting report when Mosaic gets back! Thanks so much Mysterri - I wish you were there, I hope you're enjoying these glimpses at least though. What on earth will happen now there was a stage rush! OMG! I can't even believe it! In my report from Canterbury Hurlstone RSL on Sunday I mentioned that Damien had had a first. A female had run up onto the stage and grabbed him while he was singing Nessun Dorma. He didn't miss a beat |

Mysterri that was such a great report. I have tingles and tears in my eyes after reading it. I could feel your excitement jumping through the computer. Wasn't it lovely of your daughter to let you hear some of it. Yes, being there would have been better, but a signed shirt...WOW. My TShirt has his sweat all over it so now I don't know whether to wash it and wear it or just leave it as it is. Mosaic, it was good reading your report too. He is FANTASTIC isn't he. I got up before 3 am to read the reports but didn't find them. I was looking in Fan encounters and Concerts in the memebers section. Only found this one now. All the best to the girls going tonight, and someone....give KLD a helping hand to throw her up onto the stage  |

Roxychic his voice was superb! No sign of weakness, that I could hear anyway. I was just so impressed that he could sing all those songs with such a wide range and the falsetto, and then *still* blow everyone away with Nessum Dorma. His voice was beautiful and strong  |
