Hallelujah didn't Alex do that as well!!! Yes, wet shirt then meet the parents.  I wonder if they asked him what my shirt was stained like that!  You just made me want to start the forum again. LOL I'll do it through the week when I have time to sit down and find a good one. ProBoards look really good but I like to research these things first  And yes, Alex did Hallelujah too! His started off a bit too start.stop.start.stop. for me but then he got really loud and belted out some cool notes. Unfortunately the whole song was ruined by the speakers letting out these big KNOCK KNOCK sounds every now and then and the microphone died half way too  Alex waited for it to get fixed and then finished the song like a trooper, but that's one song you don't want being stuffed up It would have been the highlight for me if it flowed like it was meant to, I'm sure of it. |

Oz, I laughed from start to finish when I read your report. I did feel sorry for you when I read about you spilling the red drink down the front of you but I think you handled that remarkably well. No Prima Donna here, you were there to see Mark and that's what you did.  I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read Braffy's comment to Mark! And you met Mark's parents!  I was half expecting to read that they'd invited you all home for dinner. I'm sure Mark's girlfriend wouldn't have minded setting a few more places. ;D All of the photos are great and Mark certainly is a little cutie but you need a smack for cutting yourself out of the photo. Where is the smack bum smiley? Thanks so much for sharing your day (and night) with us. It was a pleasure to read. |

Aww thanks Myst!  I write these epic reviews and wonder who will actually read them  It's great seeing people reading AND enjoying them.. even if they ARE laughing at my expense  Dede will confirm that whenever the spillage story was brought up between us for the rest of the night, I would sit there and bury my face in my hands. It was embarrassing but at the same time a great ice breaker! Mark no longer had a reason to be embarrassed |

Btw about this.. I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read Braffy's comment to Mark! ..Braffy was so bold it was hilarious I don't know if Mark loved having us sitting there requesting songs or hated it. I'd like to think he just liked having the support, considering we were 3 of maybe 20 guests over the whole 3 hours :-\ He sang Crazy for us again by request come to think of it! We got to the place after he'd started and it was Crazy that we heard across the street, so we asked him to do it again. He was like "Yep whatever - can't remember what I've sung anyway" LOL |

  The first pic is a great one that Carlene took. I will let her post the rest but I thought this was so lovely. The second one is of Damien, myself and my 3 girls. Holly is the baby on the left, she wasnt paying too much attention at this stage but D had been talking to her lots before hand. Stephanie is my nearly 14 year old, and yes she is taller than me *sigh* and Madison is the one I am holding who is totally SMITTEN with Damien. Look at her face LOL. So annoyed that the piece of hair just decides to blow in my face at that very moment...hehe. Thanks Carlene for taking these! Holy crap. I think I'm in  Damien looks absolutely gorgeous in that photo. We need Carlene at more concerts! Carla, your girlss are lovely. I see what you mean about Madison.  |
