The performance tonight was a charity event to raise funds to repair the Cathedral. Judging from how full the place was, they should have a good contribution!

Thanks for the great report Kami. It makes me feel a little sad that this was Damien's last live performance for a while but you were so lucky to see him both last night and tonight.

Hi guys hope I don't double up too much but here goes......
We decided to have late lunch early dinner at pizza place round corner from Cathedral this was Crush, Kath & DH and me...
Selstial rang and we caught up with her outside cathedral.
We decided MASS was a 6pm if we get in and sit front pew we were shoe in to stay then when concert started WRONG
We sat all through MASS and then got turfed out as the seats we were in were all reserved for corporate tickets -- which was all the centre pews ---------- Not Happy Jan.....
Anyway turned out to be a blessing ---- Kath's DH had saved a spot in line for us outside and we then were able to get the best possible position on the side with view on stage if we sat two by two but one lot behind the other.
The place was packed -- behind Damien to the side of Damien, people standing, kids propped on floor in front of first pew..
The audience was rather reserved when Damien asked us to sing With or Without you -- when it came to our participation as an audience you could only hear the Damienites --- no it was not good.
Damien worked hard and got the crowd into in and by the end all was good. I think the set may have been described earlier and he definately did 22 steps again with the band sounded good and I think may be contender for single.
The acoustics in the Cathedral were absolutely furntastic --- and Damien's voice in fine form.

Kath was the desingated Rose thrower and went up at the end of Nessum Dorma (no uncouth women shouting out this time) and she was very exited but did a good job.

Must say all the girls were lovely ladyees (did you expect anything else) ..........we had a great time cant wait to catch up with you all again..........

I'm not sure how I'm going to wait to see him either. I used to think girls who cried after concerts were over were a bit loopy... but maybe they have the right idea! Glad you guys met up with Damien too - we just seem to find our way to him no matter what we do, don't we?

But I don't care what they say, it's a healthy hobby/obsession kinda thing, and how can we not love that man's voice....it's amazing. and as for meeting up with him...I think it's our job as Damienites to try and do this at all events!....no matter what! ;D with reason of course!

Don't worry Roxy, my friends and family think I'm loopy too and they all say I'm obsessed but I don't care either. But I must say some of the family are starting to see that maybe I'm not so crazy, I think they really love him too
