I'm not sure how I'm going to wait to see him either. I used to think girls who cried after concerts were over were a bit loopy... but maybe they have the right idea! Glad you guys met up with Damien too - we just seem to find our way to him no matter what we do, don't we? I know what you mean, My friends think I'm loopy for sure and tell me that only 16 y/os do this type of thing!! But I don't care what they say, it's a healthy hobby/obsession kinda thing, and how can we not love that man's voice....it's amazing. and as for meeting up with him...I think it's our job as Damienites to try and do this at all events!....no matter what! ;D with reason of course! Roxy I couldn't agree more- I occasionally find myself thinking-"What am I ? 16???" but then I see, hear, read, think about D and all bets are off. How could you not love him!

Don't worry Roxy, my friends and family think I'm loopy too and they all say I'm obsessed but I don't care either. But I must say some of the family are starting to see that maybe I'm not so crazy, I think they really love him too I agree girls my hubby is a bit jealous I think because if I am on the site he gets really grumpy. Obsessed no enamoured with Damiens voice and lovely personality definately!!! My only sadness is that I haven't been able to go to a concert yet and meet him

Well I think it's fantastic that we grown up laydees have an "Idol" for a change ;D - and that the younger ones and the older ones are all with us together - Damien appeals to everyone, even the hubbies and kids! I love that! Best of all - Damien is the real deal and we'll be able to support his career as long as he wants it, he's here for the long term as a great artist!

I kept offering my husband the chance to read what goes on here especially the antics on thewaterslide at the Hut, but he refused. He does give out a groan when he see me here AGAIN though.

Hmm... wish I'd gotten the number of that young fellow behind me at the Casino concert who kept squeeing and clapping along - he seems like the safest sort of husband to have!

Just a quick "postcard" about my Tassie experience. I can't really add much more to what has already been said. Tassie trip was a mixture of emotions. A bit of this: and this: and also this: But on Saturday my mind was symbolically occupied like this: It was a long trip to arrive at the show, Damien's voice soothing and sounding amazing in the church. Highlights for me were 22 Steps, Crying, and a tear-inducing rendition of Waiting On An Angel. No photos of the concert - i left that to the experts. There was only a short opportunity to talk with AstroKath, Crush and gj, but I had great conversations. Thanks guys. Unfortunately I was not aware who Kami was, and did not get to speak with her. I was sorry that occurred. I had such a long trip down that during the show i found myself fighting to keep my eyes open - but I can assure you it had nothing to do with being bored! So afterwards I just wanted to go straight back to my motel and could not join the others at Wrest Point. To me it was well worth travelling to Hobart to experience this.

I'm sorry we didn't get to talk too, Selestial, but the whole occasion was pretty muddled, so it was nice just to see you there. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show, although I'm not at all surprised!
