ODT, little ones love the Carols. You see them every year. As long as hard boiled lollies aren't thrown from the stage What a marvellous opportunity to go. Yahoo, I am listening to MIX and Damien is going to be on soon. sorry Off Topic. I am just excited. *looks for the volume switch* He'd love the music but 7.30 is too late for him. He'd be over-tired & frantic by 8pm...

I hope the weather holds out... cross everything everyone! I got the agreement by all the family to go tonight. Though the kids are worried about 2 late nights in a row and possibility of homework... in their last week of the year! Are they really my children? Well, if they all change their minds I'll still go if there's even a possibility it's still on I'll be the one with a black t-shirt and big D and video camera... maybe I might even get a Christmas message

I am really pleased that you are going Nuffy. I think you will find that the kids will still go. Seeing their mum have so much fun all the time is going to get to them eventually.

We went to 2 Christmas parties yesterday and got home late. they're really serious about their schoolwork and I have to force them to play tennis with me sometimes! I was never like that... So, they have to loosen up I keep a collection of carols lyrics and we'll have them available to practice in the car. :rudolf: I looooove carols. I'm just going to look surprised tonight when we discover Damien's on

Sorry to disappoint Mysterri but I'm not the mayor of Canada Bay Love the theory though. I don't even live in that suburb, a friend just passed the info on to me. Thanks for clearing that up Antares. I've never heard of Canada Bay even though I lived in Sydney for many years. I've just Googled Canada Bay and found that is in the inner west. Nuffy, have a great time at Carols tonight. Hopefully you'll get to meet Damien and give him a big Christmas hug and kiss.

LOL! I was wondering why some of you were all talking about Canadians yes, Canada Bay is part of Sydney - OMG I have a friend who just moved AWAY from there to go live interstate!!! They would have been right on the doorstep! Thank so much Antares for the alert and welcome ! - oh no, I'm afraid I won't be able to get over there in time tonight. It's a really lovely spot, I hope you get there Nuffy! And wow - they are giving them homework this time of year? lol, we just used to have school picnics and making cards in the last few days of school this time of year. Was wondering if Damien was going to do any carols this year - hopefully he will continue to do the smaller community based ones, they are lovely as well as the big spectacular ones

Wonder what our Dman is singing?? How fabulous!I agree Shims..the small community ones are brilliant! I would go to ours, but I have a friend with a totally blind son, so that's why we go to Vision Aus at the MMB.. have been to local events, the whole neighbourhood turns out! Just magic!

Can't wait to hear from Nuffy! It's pretty cold in Sydney at nights lately, very weird Christmas weather here, so I hope she is all rugged up! Trilly that sounds beautiful, it's such a lovely tradition! I had never been to the big one before until last year and it was amazing! The year before we had some of the stars from tv come and sing at our local one and it was a great night, all the little kids singing along and we did some shopping then settled in for a sing-a-long I used to just love being in our choir at school and doing all the Christmas songs too

I'm back. What a lovely night Even the kids said how much fun it all was and yes, it was very fresh! That's how I kept my head warm I'll be back - just checking the kids are off to bed after a lovely warm Milo and coffee for us.
